No one will pick up that price tag....and expect at best a 2nd round pick.So tag and trade
Ya, I never thought Dak was slow, or stupid, but now Im kind of considering the fella a bit slow, he missed the bus on pay day, and may be part of the reason he always throwing behind receivers.lmao, super dak ain't getting paid.
Cowboys doom and gloom scenarios bring in the clicks.Haven't even played the 2020 season and they are talking about imaginary cap situations for 2021
The Colts and Patriots will have room. Lots of talking heads think the Colts will be a perfect match. All teams will have to follow the $175M cap. So, no team is going to have $30M to pay a QB. Market price.
Dak turns down 5 years at 30+M/year and may have to leave the Cowboys next year to get $10-15M possibly. Big gamble on his part.
Just a hunch on my part, but I think the NFL and players are in for a rude awakening with future revenue. It may continue to drop for years.
They owners are betting on the television contract and legalized gambling. It will go up. The owners are no fools when it comes to money. All teams will have to follow the $175M cap. So, no team is going to have $30M to pay a QB. Market price.

Ya that 9-7 10-6 and 8-8 the last 3 seasons was sooooo Dak pretty!!!I don’t see Dak playing with the Cowboys after this year.
$38 million is too big a cap hit if he is tagged again in 2021. And a long-term contract seems very unlikely, otherwise it would have happened before the July 15 deadline.
We better enjoy this season because things could get ugly quickly if we have to start searching for a QB.
