Im keeping lewis over chido. Lewis is more versatile and more of a dog.
I dont think either one will get a big contract anywhere, regardless of how they look this year.

Very fair and realistic assessment.Lord Byron was the best DB and he was only good, not great. He could cover in that first critical 2 seconds when the QB is checking his hot read and while he wasn't a picker, he was a real value to that secondary and pass rush.
The Cowboys D seems to be a mystery every season but this one is extra special. Got 3 new FA DL and don't know what they have left and let the only real pass rusher walk. Based on production, have the most over priced DL in the league who's only talent seems to be thinking up stupid names and then exacerbating that by sharing them. Don't know about the health on one LB and another is always a candidate for the injury report.
Changed out half the secondary, and not a good one to begin with, and don't know if it is even as good as the last underperforming one. The two best players on the D form 2019 are gone. And to top that off, the new DC didn't even hold that title in his last two stops and his claim to fame is having a famous coach father.
This Cowboys team is no different than the others in the previous 10 seasons, they will go only as far as the offense can take them.
Isn't that true of every player entering a contract season each year?
Today I agree with this. Especially Lewis. 6 months from now who knows about Chido. He needs to show something more this year.Im keeping lewis over chido. Lewis is more versatile and more of a dog.
I think they played chido out of position day 1. Chido was dominant in the slot in college coming on blitzes and against the run. He plays very physical. But our defensive coaches strike again playing guys away from their strengthsToday I agree with this. Especially Lewis. 6 months from now who knows about Chido. hell if they make an impact some here will say don't re-sign them they only did it during a contact year...
Byron Jones was never a franchise player here. If not for Taco, he’d be the most forgettable first round pick here since Claiborne.Byron Jones went from a first round bust to an all pro/franchise player in one season. A lot can change fast in the league.
