I admit to being nervous about his neck too, I think that's only natural. But I'm choosing to go the 'cautiously optimistic' route on this one and hope that everything that he, the doctors, and the organization have said are true and that he can and will make a full recovery - until proven otherwise.

Here's hoping the neck roll that LVE added to his pads do the trick to keep his neck from having a relapse.

It'd surely be terrific to see him return to the active form and hitting that he displayed well before his injury.

Likely a little bit of both, as he should be in my opinion. I'm sure he has some measure of doubt himself and is rightfully taking any and all steps he can in order to prevent it from happening again. Same as a guy who has had knees issues wearing a brace and giving himself the best chance to prevent a re-occurrence.

11 days until they are on the field.
Still seems a long way off.

But when that gets here. It is only 4 weeks until game 1.
At least there will be actually news and reports for those 4 weeks.

Even without fans, it will not be the same, but at least it will be football.

I don’t know about some of the other guys in here I became a big fan of his. Can’t remember seeing a defensive player for Dallas that played with the enthusiasm and compassion for the game that he had. And then that injury last season. I’m an an optimist though and hope he’ll get back in there. I loved to watch this guy play.

Fingers crossed.

Spinal surgery is a big deal in my book. He's one play away from retirement.
