That's great for him but he's probably done as a good WR. I don't think there should be any interest in bringing him back.

Is Dez still too proud to accept a Vet minimum deal? He'd be dumb to turn one down. Won't be the Cowboys, however.

I can't wait to see the responses from the know-it-all dunces who said that 'nobody was interested'.

You know, when nobody was actually in their facilities...

What's the excuse now fellas?
People are just slow. For whatever reason its personal with Dez. I don't remember where it came from.

Dez was one of the first guys from that era to even call out the incompetence going on. Maybe that's what made people upset......

man idk lol he’s going to be the chain mover possession receiver idk about all that tight end stuff. Ravens are a good fit because he can help underneath since they got nothing but speed outside.
They really do have one of the best TEs in the NFL in Mark Andrews.
I could see Dez as another Redzone threat though.

If the Cowboys didn't draft Cee Dee I would be all in bringing Dez back here. That draft and giving away #88 sealed his fate.

If there’s a team with a realistic role for him, and Dez is 100% willing to accept that role, he’s likely got a lot of football left in him.

Don’t know about his current speed/quickness, but Dez is talented, strong, tough and a fierce competitor.

Good luck to him!

He accepted one from the Saints two years ago, so it would seem that him being "too proud" to do so is... misplaced.

If you didnt speak up when posters were throwing dirt on his grave the last couple of years then dont worry about who is keeping score.
I mean, he didn't exactly have teams knocking down his door after his injury and all we saw were videos of him doing workouts with the neighbor kids. I'm sure some fans are more harsh than others, but Bryant is hardly a household commodity.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing him get a roster spot somewhere, but I have rather low expectations.

I just get tired of people bashing the guy and speaking in absolutes about him being 'done'. I think he deserves better than that.
Fair enough. I look at it from a perspective of "what have you done?"
I think some fans understand the talent he had, but the shenanigans overshadow that.

What 30 year old has teams knocking down their door after an achilles injury?

They clearly reached the breaking point with this organization.

However, for the purposes of accuracy, both Linehan and Garrett - the two people that drove Dez out - were quickly fired themselves, so maybe Dez wasn't entirely in the wrong?
