This is NOT the kind work ethic we've been hearing about..........something's wrong. One word.....patience

I hope it all amounts to something but I have to see it on the field first before I believe anything or get excited for him. We've all heard training camp fluff 100 times before and this reeks of a big push to rehabilitate his image. He's a Cowboy so I'm rooting for him but I'm not buying it for a second until I see a much better player on the field. He was just soo awful last year that I'm in don't tell me, show me mode with him.
Coach Elmo!Nothing says ‘football tough’ like a coach being ‘tickled to death’.
Excellent. That is wonderful to read. He has an elite first step. If he can cultivate everything else, he could be a very good 3T and it starts with him.
The guy obviously needs positive reinforcement for his hard work and it's good to see Tomsula throwing it out there. He was also about 325 pounds when we drafted him at age 21. If has even average maturity and motivation now, he has the physical skills to be an above average starter. Too soon to tell obviously, but the tools are there.
He seems like he might be the kind of guy that would shut down to that kind of talk. The threat of getting cut sunk in. I am guessing someone had a very short and to the point talk with him. Don't care if you were a 2nd round pick, show something or you will be gone.

Or maybe just maybe, hes changed since last year. Grew up mentally and realized he had to work hard in order to play.
