Because we got Darian Thompson back there . Having no pre-season makes me wonder if our safety-play is good enough or not. I'd rather have Earl Thomas and his baggage tho.

Randall was a CB for the Packers. He's been tried now at safety, but doesn't make him one.

I coached Damarious in 2012 so this hurts me. He started off really well and has struggled the last 2 years.

That said, he met with the Cowboys pre-draft and they had some interest.

A Free Safety who has started several games at Cornerback. Could be worth a look.

I think him and McCarthy may have had some issues.

However, if we arent going Thomas or a trade, Randel is probably our best bet to add a vet Safety
