So when the team has a winning record, it's attributed to the QB.

When the team loses and fails to score 20 points, the QB gets no blame.

You Dak stans are hilarious.
Explain how it was Dak's fault. Losers only place blame without elaborating how.

This post is one of the dumbest things I’ve read today. His QB IQ is very high. He just had HORRIBLE accuracy today and has always had ZERO playmaking ability Like a true game breaker QB
I don’t think read anticipation is an IQ thing. A lot of really high IQ QBs like Sam Bradford were awful at read anticipation. I’ve never thought Dak was particularly good at it although he was improving last year. Tonight he didn’t seem to have it again. Was very quick to check down even when he had time.

Most are blaming McCarthy for the decision to go for it on 4th and 3 (including me) but to be fair...Dak did throw the ball at the receiver's shoe laces! If it was thrown chest high in stride then he might have made the first down.

I know you are not ignorant enough to not realize how the officials stole the game from the Cowboys tonight with that horrible offensive pass interference against Gallup. That's not including the terrible situational playcall decisions by the coaching staff.

that call was rough and I am surprised they made it.

having said that Dak would have been right in the spot where he failed repeatedly last year...about the 17 down 3 needing to score to win. Nothing I have seen tells me even if they dont throw that flag they win...or even score after that play.

Dak ended up with a 92.5 passer rating. That's pretty good. 266 passing yards, 64.1 % completion percentage with 1 TD and 0 turnovers.

We all saw the officials take away several pass plays from Dak and the Offense. Dak easily would had had over 300 yards passing with over a 100 passer rating if it weren't for the officials.

The problem was not Dak or the Offense. Instead, the problem was the Defense, Special Teams and once again the coaching playcall decisions. All the same problems that hurt the team in 2019.

3 points in 2nd half, worlds worst 2 minute drill, consistently failing to lead his receiver/hit in stride, taking sacks/unnecessary pressure when a lane is there to utilize, finished game 1 for 7.

Please chill with the Dak defense, it's not helping.

17 points? Again i'm a dak supporter, but you cannot continue to make excuses for him. That is a game elite quarterbacks win. This guy wants 35 + million dollars people. Look at what the other elite qb's do for their teams, some with much less talent.

I know a popular argument here is "wentz and goff" got paid. Ok i understand that point of view.... but that doesn't mean we should overpay dak.

Its still early, who knows maybe we go 14-2..... but another 9-7 year we need to move on.

We weren't a big play offense in a game we should've been. You bring this on yourself, Dak didn't look great, and people will point out that the dink and dunk game can pad up your stats but cost you the game.
Excuse me? You sound dumb. The dink and dunk QB was Goff, not Dak. Quit lying.

i may be way wrong but it looked to me like the whole team pretty much stayed at home the coaches the players and all looks like its going to be another long season

Well Diehard been trying to get people to understand that the problem is not the coaching nor the players.

Defense allowed 20 points. So we are supposed to give up 14 or less each game?
Rams won TOP 35:38 to 24:22.

Defense couldn't get off the field. Rams should have scored more. You have to look deeper than they gave up 20 points. When you can't get offense the ball until the middle of the 2nd half, it's tough. They didn't punt til third quarter.

Get lost and follow another team. Your bashing has gotten tiresome.

He didn't lose the game but he didn't win the game. That's the whole issue for me about paying a QB $35-40 million. You just have to win games like this one vs the Rams. For a QB to justify that sort of money they need to play like Russell Wilson did today vs the Falcons. He won the game for them. If they had a middle of the pack QB then they likely lose that game as Wilson made several key plays at the opportune moments.

Someone posted that Prescott's third down completions today were something like 1/7 with his arm?
