I had no idea how big this guy is.

Rookie, no training camp whatsoever to speak of. No off season. No contact. Thrown in as a starter against a high octane offense first rattle out of the box.

I think he played a really solid game. Couple of dimes dropped out of his reach. But by and large I see - as a fan and not an expert - what some of the pros have said about this guy.

So comment on that stop around the fifty yard line tackling that big bruiser for the Rams and forcing a punt.

This will end up being a premium pick in the second for Dallas.

Heard on the radio how Trysten Hill saw the play developing and ran as hard as he could to prevent the cut back and forcing the RB into Diggs tackle. I didn't notice that, but they seemed giddy about it on 103.3 ESPN Dallas.

every Time the camera was on him, he had tight coverage and located the ball each time. The other guys couldn't.

Yes Hill and Diggs both made a great play there. Diggs is gonna be legit.

So far I was wrong about him. I think we will see what Walter football said about him this week though regarding his confidence. Julio coming :omg:
If he comes out of that fire fine I'll be a believer.
Id leave Awuzie on Julio because of his speed. Him and brown can run with him. Diggs has no advantage over Julio. He'd be able to maul C Ridley though. Ridleys 189.

What do you think the Cowboys did for the last month before the season if it wasn't TC?

On the one deeper pass, It was really cool how he turned his head and got his hands on the ball. I think he is going to be really good. The tackle you're referencing was good too. I was surprised he didn't get the pick on the tipped ball but it would have been a great play.

Im happy with the pick. Lets just hope he doesn't regress like Chido.

the key to being a good corner is having tight coverage consistently and locating the ball fast. He does both. Once he gets respect from officials, he'll go to another level. He just needs ints.

Agreed. Some more experience. Those near breakups he had last night will be knock downs or picks.

I still have hopes for Chido. He just needs to be more aggressive and his confidence may be waning. If you get burned, get it on the next play. He has the physical talent.
If being in a contract year doesnt get your confidence up nothing will. After this year he is what he is. He didnt play good or bad yesterday. We'll see
