For those conspirFor theorists out there:

(Add in decision to go for it instead of obvious field goal
I believe MM put Dak in a Position to "Show me the money" . . . and poor Dakie Pooh fell flat on his face.)

Trying to jettison Dak will be very controversial and a couple more performances like this could make the transition easier.

Makes me wonder about the whole IR conspiracyo_O. As soon as I heard this. . . . I was like :facepalm:. . . Dak is Done. . . But not even I thought it would be this bad.

If Dak was under minded by Big Mike. . . It would be a stroke of genius. He can be rid of the traveling soap opera Dak has become. Those who were loyal in the local media are now highly critical. If he fails miserably against Seattle & Atlanta, and Elliott will not be able to bail him out against those teams. Dak will be carrying a clipboard by game 4

Or Collins on IR is legit then it was just written in the STARS for the Cowboys to be rid of this Fraud early, so that we may enjoy a competitive season. There's an extra wild card this year. So 9-7 is all that is needed to get a ticket to the party.

Trying to sabotage the QB your owner is trying to sign long term - in your first game as head coach - would be monumentally stupid.

If Dak does sign an extension and McCarthy doesn't want him, guess who will no longer be with the Cowboys?

Who knows with this year, in regards to enforcement, but IR isn't some healthy player stashing system.

Well then you choose option #2 and its written in the Stars for Dak to be carrying a clip board by game 4.

But that choice to forgo the fieldgoal is a real head scratchier.
 
I've said it throughout Dak's whole career. He is a good QB. He just lacks the magic feeling. I've never once in Dak's career felt like he was going to do something awesome to win us a game. Never. Not one single time ever. I felt it all the time when I watched #9. I feel it when I watch Mahomes and Rodgers and guys that deserve 40 million dollars a year.

I mean if there is one person in the NFL who first hand knows what happens when the franchise QB wants nothing to do with you it would be MM. I HIGHLY doubt he would be crazy enough to make the same mistake twice.

I mean I'm a Dak fan but if your argument is that he's not the best quarterback in the league and he's not one of the best quarterbacks of all time....I don't think you will get a argument out of anyone lol.

Yup, the more the opponent scores the more I feel the game is lost. Before it always felt like we could come back no matter what stupid domino effect took place to keep us down.
