Its fine calling that if you are going to be consistent. But if you allow hand checking all game long (and pick plays by the Rams, but call it on Dallas) then you shouldn't selectively call it on the biggest pass play of the game.

If you are consistent to set the tone all game that its allowed, you shouldn't change that standard in the last two minutes of the game.

Hand contact from both players is one thing. Pushing off is another. I can see why the penalty was called. That being said, the NFL is a shell of it's former self with regard to "letting the players play." How anyone is surprised is beyond me.

What is Ramsey's hand doing on Gallup's shoulder? Why is he trying to trap Gallups' arm? Are you telling me that Ramsey had a right to grab Gallup's shoulder? You can't see that their arms are locked up?

Where's the grab? Show me. Ramsey has the back of his hand on Gallup's shoulder the same way Gallup had the back of his hand in Ramsey's chest almost the whole way to keep Ramsey back. It's Gallup who puts his hand there first and Ramsey responds to that by bringing his arm up under Gallup's. As I mentioned, how are their arms "locked" when Gallup freely pushes off? Where's the restriction?

You can see why this is just schtick on his part. He has done it for years. If Ramsey is allowed to make that kind of contact but Gallup isn't, it means OPI should be called on at least two WRs on every pass play in the NFL.

Then Ramsey was holding first. He initiated contact outside of 5 yards. If Ramsey has to interfere to break Ramsey's hold then how does that rule apply. Officials tend to let that go as hand-checking. So for consistency's sake, if you let Ramsey's actions slide, you should do the same with Gallup's.

You keep changing the goal posts. Again, it is irrelevant whether the DBs back is turned or not and, with this new goal post, referees let hand battles go between DBs and WRs down the field. What they don't allow is the arm to be extended, this is clear in the rules.

I posted the timing of the holding penalties with Jerry challenging Goodell's contract. I did it before Demarcus Lawrence said the same thing publicly.

When Percy said he had only seen it happen twice in NFL history, you later challenged me to prove what Percy said. Percy said he didn't remember the comment months later and some dolt spent months saying "Aha, its a lie!".

I agree. The turnover on downs in the redzone and them manhandling us at the LOS on both sides of the ball was why we lost. The OPI was just salt on the wound. We're not going to win a lot of games if we can't block, tackle or understand situational football.

Was the first of a few calls and non calls. We got a int and Aldon nails goff in the face accidentally and there was no call so I thought they was letting them play. Dak got smacked also. But they weren’t letting them play at the end. That was a ticky tac OPI and a flop by ramsey.
