Seeing how ATL Linebacker Foye Oluokun " peanut punch" THREE fumbles away from our offensive
players in just the first half alone.

The first thing i thought was this guy has perfected that punch ball out technique. The ball carrier is slowed up by other tacklers, and LB Foye Oluokun is able wind up his arm and fist
and jab or upper cut that ball out of Zeke, Schultz or Pollard's arms.

i truly wish our LBs, our safeties, CBs ..our defensive players could master that.

From what i am seeing from this defense - it's not likely to be big on creating turnovers
Even Diggs has had his hands on tips and thrown passes but hasn't delivered ...yet.

he must have put some very very tastee buttered popcorn on oursideline pregame

Jimmy’s teams had such ball hawking, havoc creating, turnover producing defenses especially on the big stage. We haven’t consistently had defenses like that since those teams. God it would be nice to see again.

Sean Lee had that kind of turnover knack, especially for dropping and playing the passing lane for the INT. -especially when he plays
the middle lanes. He did no make near as many turnovers when he was moved to the OLB role.

But i could understand why we had to move him out of the Middle LB role, he was taking too much of a body beating and wear-tear toll.

I'm wondering if Atlanta saw something on tape. It's hard for me to believe the fundamentals here are that bad.

I've just never seen fumbles flying like I did yesterday.

You must be too young to have watched the first SB between Dallas and Buffalo.

He had perfect technique. I remember in high school a safety did that to our rb but he was missing the ball and just jabbing our run. On the third time, our rb said you got one more time to punch me and I’m punching back. Well it happened again and that corner ended up not finishing the game

It worked early in the game but yet not after the 1st qrt, just maybe Dallas did a better job of holding on to the ball.

Yes, yes, yes!!

When he misses with the punch, he will get trucked. I like the first defender to stand up the ball carrier and the 2nd to try and knock the ball out. If he secures it then take him down.

He will probably never have a game anything like that again. Interesting that he was Zeke's high school teammate.

Coaches like Kris Richard has tried to teach that strategy technique, but players never responded as such. Guys may not react on such tech in the fast speed
of the game. And like a previous poster said, some guys just gotta knack for that.

Bruce carter was better than sean lee at creating turnovers

Didn't we see ATL linebacker Foye Oluokun on the sidelines , riding the bicycle ?
Reportedly bother by cramps or lower body strains ?

I believe at one point Foye Oluokun, dante fowler and Takk McKinnley all ended out of the game at some point or another ?
Maybe it was soft tissue injuries that's working around the NFL as well, but i have to wonder if the relentless attack
of our offense brought on a wear tear toll on some ATL defenders too.
