Wentz right now isn't much different than Dak in the beginning of 2018. Playing poorly, but the surrounding environment is so poor that every mistake looks worse because you can't overcome anything.

he either lost confidence since he can’t run as well or he lost effectiveness and the running ability had been masking his throwing deficiencies or both...clearly not the same player.

A lot of theories on him........... some are that he has bulked up a bit too much and that made his throwing motion different, he's always been loose with his footwork and after working on it, he often falls back into old habits, etc.

Foles is terrible. Stop. LOL. He can't even beat out Mitch Trubisky at this point.

Foles is your once in a lifetime, lightning in a bottle, we got lucky moment when he took Philly to the SB in 2017. Play that season 100 times with Foles and 99 times he probably fails.

The eagles have screwed the pooch when it comes to drafting receivers recently.

2 drafts ago they chose JJ Arcega Whiteside over DK Metcalf.

this past draft. They could have traded up with their 2nd round pick to get Ceedee Lamb.


The eagles could have Ceedee Lamb and DK Metcalf as their 2 receivers.

instead they have arcega whiteside, jaelon Reagor and Jalen hurts (backup QB)


Obviously it’s still early. Whiteside and Reagor May develop into good players.


But as of right now. It doesn’t look like good drafting.

They really are not good at drafting. If you look at their last 4 drafts before the 2020 one (can't make determinations on rookies), it's pretty woeful.

They have ended up with three really good players out of the last 4 drafts - Miles Sanders, Goeddert and Carson Wentz and frankly, Wentz might be trending down at this point. The rest is slop and a few serviceable players:

2019 - Dillard, Sanders, Arcega-Whiteside, MIller, Thorsen
2018 - Goeddert, Maddox, Sweat, Pryor, Mailata
2017 - Barnett, Jones, Douglas, Hollins, Pumphrey, Gibson, Gerry, Qualls
2016 - Wentz, Seumalo, Smallwood, Vaitai, Countess, Mills, McCallister, Walker

2017 looks particularly awful. Barnett hasn't turned into a dominant DE, Sidney Jones was a risk and is now not on the team, Gerry is the only guy still on the team other than Barnett. Awful.

I agree, I don't think all Dak critics are Wentz fans, hell chances are many of them are not. What I don't get is how hard it is for them to give Dak any credit for a game like he had sunday. on the season thus far he is hitting 68.6% of his passes no ints, did have a fumble. I don't have an issue for someone saying Dak had a bad game what I don't get is people who can't seem to acknowledge when he does have a great outing.

I get it we have people here who once they make up their minds they do not like someone they will not stop and they will not give credit. Dak had a great day out there yet his critics will shut up for a day but ready to pounce at the 1st chance, they will down play his play in this game. I can look at any teams QB even those I don't like and be able to give credit for great play yet some of our own fans can't stomach giving Dak any credit what so ever and I do find that amazing, considering they are or claim to be fans. If Dak was playing else where and I saw him play as he did vs Alt I would say that was a damn good outing just as I did when Wilson played them in week 1. To me it is not hard to give credit when credit is due

You mean Cowboys fans who can acknowledge he had a great game? We are 2 games into the season and Dak play has not been poor. Personally I hope he is not put in a position of throwing for 451 very often because if he is chances are we are playing from behind but does not change the fact that he played an exceptionally good game this past weekend and yet so hard for critics here to even say that.

The funniest part of this entire thing is that when Wentz was signed to that deal, I said he wasn't worth it and it was too soon. I was told that thats the way it works. Then I was told that Dak deserves the money because Wentz got that kind of money. See, this is the funny part. The truth is that neither one of them deserves it and that's the honest truth.

Then played a division opponent in the Giants which Dak won


Wentz lost to division opponent and the Rams and both were completely on him. Stop defending a QB that has been straight up trash and don't compare him to Dak who didn't go 0-2
