Totally agree. Fans can think whatever they want but the game is about execution and that doesn't come from zoom calls. It comes from reps on the field and with a brand new coaching staff and scheme - it takes more reps than normal. With no preseason, it was pretty much the second half of game 2 before the defense had its sea legs.

Yes, and that seems to have been the case in the Rams game as well. Our D came along nicely in the second half that game too. What we need is our D to get better and be consistent. I say give this team time to continue developing and gelling, and I think people will be surprised at what this team is capable of. It was said that we probably won't know what we have until probably October given the lack of preseason and less than usual offseason programs. The offense certainly appeared to have found their legs in the second half of the Falcons game.

Were talking about beating the seahawks pal. At least I am.

I think we have a decent chance at beating the Seahawks. Here's why I think that. I saw what the Pats did to the Seahawks D. I think we can out do that. That D is NOT the Legion of Boom. They have a good D, but not great. I think we can take them on that. I think our ST is better than theirs. The only question is our D. If we let Wilson run around, we'll be in trouble. If we can get at least a few stops on them, I think we'll win.

Ok...……....and what is their O going to do to our defense? Is Smith coming back? The difference is that our Oline limits the offense. And then there is the coaching question.

The D is where I have concerns about that game. Every other phase of the game with our matchup, I think we'll be fine. I think the best thing our offense can do is control the ball and keep the D off the field as much as possible. Control time of possession.

What key players are missing that are coming back? Lee? This D just sucks.

I'll concede that we had a bad time getting pressure on Ryan, but we did get good pressure on Goff in the Rams game with Aldon Smith. I also like Diggs. I know he's a rookie, but I like the way he's played overall for a rookie. I think he could be a key factor for us here. But we've GOT to intercept passes when our defenders get their hands on the ball. Wilson will throw errant passes a few times during the game. When he does, we MUST capitalize on those passes.

Game plan needs to be aggressive early and get a lead throwing the football. If and when we get up by 10 then mix in the run game. But continue to throw a lot on first down, run on 2nd and 3. But if you suggestion is to pound Zeke all game and from the start, then I completely disagree.

I think Everson Griffen is going to have a big game. He got excoriated by a Cowboys media person. I think that might get him riled up to go after the Wilson to try to shut up the guy that was talking about him. Worley has been slowly getting better. I know you'll probably laugh about me mentioning him, but I've seen him improving over the last few games, and he nearly came away with an INT last game. Joe Thomas has been getting pretty good at LB. So, there are a few players that are worth watching on D imo. Furthermore, I know we got lucky to win the Falcons game, but, sometimes a game like that will give the team a belief in each other. Seeing Dak carry that offense like he did that game is important. I think this team is going to fight for him this game. Sometimes, it takes a bit of luck as well as being a good team to go far in a season.

Not just pound with Zeke. I'm thinking mix it up a bit, but try to keep the D on the sideline as much as possible. Then, let Griffen try to shut down his critics when we do have to go on D.

Amazing that Joe Thomas looks better than Smith. Sad too.

But don't forget that this offense didn't really begin to hum until Moore basically forgot about the run and just went Dak wild. Will be do it again? Will it take us to be down by 20 again?

I am usually very negative about this team and understand this defense is a mess, but this offense had 3 turnovers from 5 fumbles and still managed to put up 40 points without our defense getting a turnover. Pretty damn good if you ask me. Now I will go back to being pessimistic.

Problem with the pass rush is there is no push up the middle. So they can just chip and help out on the ends. Nice clean pocket for the QB. And Wilson is going to destroy these DT's running past them.

Yes, and this will certainly be a hard game, but I think we can do this.

Hawks are a tough game for us, but there will be easier offenses after them for a while. Although we gave up a lot of points to the Falcons, much of that was the offense giving up the ball and field position. Some key guys started to play better. Poe. Jaylon. I'd say the arrow is up for the defense despite the score.

It took a miracle to beat the Falcons at home. A miracle. Can we just see how it goes against the Seahawks. The schedule looks very tough so if this team can make the playoffs they will have earned it.

Sure and the 3 1st quarter turnovers are unlikely to happen again. That is why we needed a miracle.

I would imagine the coaches would do what works.
