I’m still torn on Tyron’s replacement. Hard to find LT’s. Gonna take a premium pick most likely to find a good one. Chance they will be as good as Tyron when he is healthy, is minimal.

I'm what I would describe as 'cautiously optimistic' regarding Brandon Knight. I like what I've seen thus far but the sample size is small. So far, so good though.

Knight is certainly in the mix, but I'd like to see them give Connor Williams an honest chance there as well. He played that spot in college and I just don;t think he's cut out for guard and is being done a disservice there.

I did too, and I definitely consider him an option. I thought he played well last year when forced into duty at right tackle and I think he did a nice job overall this past week on the left side. I think that's all you can ask for in a swing tackle. My one concern is the small sample size and needing to see more.

Lamb has a favorable matchup his week vs their backup slot CB. Could be a 2nd consecutive 100 yd game.

It is. No easy decisions for sure.

Connor is not that good of a guard. What makes you think he can play tackle? He was terrible in college. A no name Maryland player gave him problems. Connor does not even look like a tackle. Left tackle is probably the hardest position to play on the line and you want Connor blocking Dak’s blindside? Glad posters are not GMs.

The Texans line is worse than OL with the 2 tackles that played last week, doesn't say much for this guy that they showed no interest after is work out.

Wasn't this guy with us a few years ago? I remember a OT named Mills. I believe he got cut.

EDIT: Just saw that he was with us for a few weeks back in 2015.
On September 7, 2015, the Dallas Cowboys claimed him off waivers.He suffered a foot injury and was declared inactive for the season opener against the New York Giants. On September 14, he was released to make room for offensive tackle Charles Brown.

Seemed to imply he may be out a while. But who knows?

Tyron needs to just bit the bullet and get neck replacement surgery in the off-season.
