Humor: Tony Romo and Stephen Colbert trade insults

Not going to subscribe to watch/listen to what was discussed.

What was the deal?

The only thing fatter than Romo's momma is the catch radius he gifted to opposing DBs while under pressure.

It's interesting Romo's is hardly mentioned for his accomplishments as a Cowboy QB. In fact, you guess the impression he's detached himself from the team as a former player. In other words, when I see or hear his name, I respect his legacy but I'm not feeling him like other former Cowboy players.

That interview was pretty ugly to read. Without being able to see their faces, it sounded somewhat ugly.

Hopefully, it was more a case of testy banter than really hateful sarcasm. Not a nice read for either guy. o_O

“For me, when I grew up, I never watched the news one time. I watched only Johnny Carson and when he was gone, everyone was terrible,” he said.

Ok that was well played. Reminded me of Zack Galifianakis savagely roasting Conan on Between two Ferns.

You're kidding, right? The writer made it very clear that it was just banter, going so far as to say the when Romo told him he was no Carson, Colbert laughed and said, "I love it!"

I love Romo and am very happy he is having such a successful post nfl career....classy guy and I’m glad we had him for a decade, wish he would have gotten the big one but he made it fun for all of us for a long time.
