Why isn’t this offense living up to its potential

The offense can be explosive but Kellen has to get some fluidity in his calling. He acts much like me playing Madden.......keep pushing buttons until a play that looks good comes up. He has little rhyme or reason.

A healthy OLine will mask his issues but not now.......

Everyone knows our defense sucks. We need to focus on offense. Perhaps get Tony Romo to call plays over zoom? Or let Dak play backyard football.

this is a 14-2 team potential wise here

Coaches have come and gone.
New stud players have been added to the offense.
The main reason this team cannot reach its potential is as constant as the northern star....

Kellen Moore is not who many of you think he is.

He may be a coach's son, he may be smart, he may actually be good one day.

Right now, he has zero feel for playcalling. He has no rhythm, strategy, or real ability to counter defensive strategies.

Also, the play designs, the route concepts, are umm, not great. He either is designing these or is borrowing from Linehan and isn't seeing how basic they are.

Jerry and many of you anointed him. He wasn't ready.

I also think when the pressure starts getting to McCarthy, he is going to snatch the playcalling from Kellen.

My advice to Kellen would be to go to another organization with an established OC to learn from or go to a college team and call the offense.

40 points vs ATL

31 points vs Seattle

14 of the 38 points Seattle scored today was due to one interception and one fumble - both of those turnovers were on Dak. One Dak just not placing the ball right and the second Dak holding on to the ball and thinking Connor Williams was going to hold up.

I picked the wrong weekend to stop METH.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

I strive to keep it 100

Good game by Dakota and the offense. They didn’t try to give it away like last week

The defense, or lack thereof, takes this loss against a very good Qb in Wilson

Kudos to the offense to showing up against a better defense that the Falcons

The Cowboys have scored 87 points in 3 games - that's 29 per contest.

Only a fool thinks the QB is the reason for 1-2. Congratulations, fool.

Exactly right.

He had all of the makings of a future OC and Jerry wanted to get in on all the Sean McVay/Kyle Shanahan hype so he fabricated his own.

Look at the people who endorsed him.

Jason Garrett
"Kellen's off to a really good start," the head coach said. "He's a really smart guy. We had him here as a player for a few years and he's one of those guys that you identify early on and say, 'This guy could be a really good coach.'"

Dan Orlovsky

Jerry Jones
"We think we have our own version of that(referring to Sean McVay)."

All football frauds.

I personally think Sean Lee will be a really good coach one day of he wants to. I do not recommend making him the LB coach for an NFL team his first year after playing, and then an NFL DC his second year as coaching.

Sean Payton was an assistant coach for 12 years before he got an NFL OC job. Kyle, the son of an actual NFL head coach, not a high school coach like Moore, was an assistant for 7 years before getting his first OC gig. Even McVay had 6 years before he coordinated an NFL offense.

We live and die with Dak's ability to make plays.

Look at the critical drives and plays.

How'd you feel about the play calls the last drive today?

How about the call (not the decision to go for it) on the critical 2-point play last week.

I feel like for some of you, this is Garrett all over again. The idea of Kellen Moore sounds good, the result is not.

You'll get there.

Didn’t a DB drop one in the chest? Dak was top 3 in dropped INTs by DBs, but his homers love to tell us why his WRs are to blame for throws that are behind them..

I don't know... It was a fun game. I think Dallas could have 3 wrs with a 1000 yards this season.

2-8 in 1 score games since last year.. one of them was against Atlanta, which choked against Foles in the fourth quarter. “Clutch” Dak back at it again..

Kellen Moore is a garbage playcaller. He has nice play designs, but chooses to utilize the worst ones at the worst times.

O-line is basically decimated at this point.

And the turnovers have to stop. How many turnovers have we had in the last 3 games? Like 5-7 (including turning it over on downs)? Maybe more. Ridiculous.

they need to visit Belichick in NE for a week cause I don’t think this team is practicing right. Or maybe they need to bring some refs in to show when they’re doing something wrong because the penalties are horrendous.

Funny how Kellen gets all the blame...yet people don't realize Dak audibles to half these plays that blow up in his face.....

I guess we could be like the Jets and take away Dak's ability to audible out of plays....

Apparently our defense is to blame for all these wide open WRs, but Dak is threading needles. Their defenses don’t leave guys like Cooper and Gallup and Lamb wide open in one on one match-ups all day long, because our RB sucks..
