We did nothing on that play except let Olsen sit down in a soft zone.

Here was the opportunity to win the game with one gamble. And we did nothing out of the box.

i hated the defense we used. i mean our safeties where trash playing the pass. We should of ran some safety blitzes like the Seahawks was doing vs us when Adams was in the game. Instead we ran a stupid zone and left yet another person wide open. We make that play we basically win the game or have a very good chance of winning the game.

Look at the way we rushed. DE's going wide all the time to help contain russ from getting outside the pocket. how about use a corner or safety blitz. You know something not so freak predictable. or how about a overloaded blitz. Nope just ran a scared zone and still left someone wide open.

i swear I hate this scared defense we run.
Guys need to shut up and play ball. The only person whose opinion should matter is Aldon Smith. he is the only guy out there playing.

Another option would be to line up in a straight 4-3 Press Man, then drop and fan the DE's in the passing lanes. Send 2 LB's double barrel blitz. Both DT's move inside shoulder and get their hands up. All DB's Jam and stand @ 4 yards deep.

We do not have a playoff caliber defense right now.

Our offense has been amazing given the o-line play which has been inconsistent to say the least. Starting two UDFA, one a rookie,at bookends lol. The line play was so inconsistent we had to reshuffle middle of the third quarter. I mean come on. we have got to get healthy here. We can’t keep doing this week to week. That will helps the defense too.

There were some good things out of the secondary in the second half. The defense played stout for a while there. At one point in the 4th we had outgained SEA 199 to 45.

Yeah felt they could have been much more aggressive and force Wilson to make a throw. It feels like the D has failed in big moments at the most critical times for 2 decades.

As soon as Wilson got the ball back with the time they had it was obvious the Seahawks would score points. The only question I had was how much time will the Cowboys offense have have to operate.

Yeah I agree. It seems to me that if Wilson is going to beat you, which is very plausible because he’s so damn good, make him beat you under stress. Letting him just sit back there when the defense has to be tired just was playing too damn conservative there.
