I am beginning to think Amari is expendable

Yes, just a week ago I admonished a fellow forumite for suggesting we trade Amari if possible.
Well, I was so indignant that I cut short my trip to the Atlanta Hair Expo & 'Q Competition.

I said unto him: WE ARE ONLY AN INJURY AWAY TO GALLUP OR CD TO SCOURING THE WAIVER WIRES!

But that was yesterday and yesterday, like me ankle muscles, are fleeting.

But ...
As Cedric the Entertainer and Gallup arise, we could seemingly tire of Amari.
And, hot dog! Maybe an Amari value could get us angry dog safeties corners.
Or a middle linebacker.
Blimey! The things I say!

If this was about Zeke I would be on board.

When I watch the replays of his route running I just shake my head and wonder why he isn't open every single play. He really is gifted.

Yep, more talented, and gifted than Dez. Complete wr not just a redzone threat.

Cooper is the only speed in the WR corps and commands the most attention. The offense will look *totally* different if he misses a game.

Don't fool yourself by just looking at production. You have to look at how much attention each player commands from the defense. Cooper is the guy.

I think Gallup is more likely to be trade bait. He's young and cheap and can be a #1. He's not as good as Cooper or Lamb, but he's probably the best trade bait.

I agree. As much as I like Gallup, if a team offers a 1 or an early 2 it is a serious consideration.

with the cap dropping and Dak’s big contract looming, there isn’t going to be enough to keep him at 15 million a year.

I don't see any virtue in weakening a position a in which you are strong to upgrade a poor one. There are ways of making slight improvements where you are weak without giving up assets.

As for what Cooper earns, who cares? it's not our money or our problem how the team finds it, he's either a player you want on your team or he isn't.

Coop should have never been paid 20 mil . Period .
This team needs the cap space to acquire help in the DT and safety and corners and OL. Lots of holes . Cee Dee is a bargain at his current 1.7 mil pay . Wilson and Gallup are sufficiently gifted as well .

I think Amari’s foot is hurt and they’re using him as a decoy.

Amari is not worth $20 million/year for standing on the sidelines, especially during crunch time, game on the line end-of-games.

If he was paid $10 - $12 million/year, that would be tolerable, but at $20 mil/year, he needs to be out there no matter what. You never saw Michael Irvin on the sidelines...ever...especially with the game on the line!

How quickly so many forget.
Agree!! Amari does make plays but there are times where I also feel his interest level goes down. I can see why Gruden got rid of him. Its not that he isnt a good player but there is just something about him that screams he isnt worth 20 mil.

I think Gallup will be a FA after this year. He is gonna want to get paid big money.
