I highly doubt they don't grade the players after each game. I think the system in how they did it is changed to something that aligns with McCarthy analytics now.
That makes more sense.

The media churns out stories just for the clicks.

I guess that is what this is.

That's why I fact checked with the Forum.

I think you're right. It's more like a "great job," "good job," "passable," and "needs improvement" thing. Thought I read it on the board not long ago, but.....can't find it.

i think the concept of a grade creates complacency tbh. Like if you have a B than you probably know you aren't going to get benched if you maintain it. The reality is there only two grades pass or fail and fail means you are on the Bench and that is where the coaches are failing because they are benching players that are failing or coaching them to be better.

Booger says that under Marinelli and Richard they graded players play each game.

That now under McCarthy and Nolan..

that has been eliminated.

Booger says this removes accountability from players and coaches.

Players do not know where they are in their play.

This was amazing to me. I think I would prefer knowing what I am being judged by myself.

You guys?

What do you think?
I think if they graded players after every game then their hands would be cramping from writing F's.

I thought Mike Nolan was talking about grading Jaylon Smith’s plays last week

They gave up 27 points to the Giants. They know what their grade is.

I mean they are NFL players.

Shouldn’t they mostly know when they stink or not

There is a huge difference in knowing if you suck and what grades the coaches think you got. NFL players do not always not know every single thing they did wrong. The coaches should and should grade accordingly.

But hey, juice boxes and fruit snacks for everyone! You all are great!

If you screw up too much, and get benched, you know you are at the grade of F.
That is all they need to know.

Actually grading grown men after each game seems a bit grade school. Some or many may take offense to that.
Threat them as men, and correct things and point them out in film sessions.
Other teams may not need to be graded from game to game, but the Cowboys are known for not holding their players accountable, so these players need it individually and as a team.
