ak has played with more talent than any of players from the last 25 years, but that only lasted a year or two.

I always contend that the talent Dak had in 2016 was overrated.

Both Witten & Dez an the tail ends of their careers. Terrence Williams couldn't even get a job in busch league a few years later. Beasley was a OK slot WR, but one dimensional.

The line was good, though Doug Free was not. Defense was average.

When you look in the mirror just remember that you and your brethren keep morons like Cowturd and Skip Bayless employed...
i was thoroughly unimpressed with the cowherd piece. perhaps he forgot dak's rookie season was 13-3 with this same front office. maybe the doofus forgot we lost both starting tackles, freddy retired, looney went down with injury, we're now starting a rookie at center and another at rt. brandon knight is an udfa lt. lee and lve went down. chido and brown went down. did the fo cause these injuries? cowherd is a doofus.

All these talk show "experts" really are asking the tough questions, aren't they? I mean, would we fans have ever thought to ask ourselves if Dak will return to Dallas? What would we do without these "experts" to wonder for us?

Our organization deserves to be bashed for not building better teams around Dak.
Seriously, JJ has done a dam good job trying to keeping this team relevant. So it's JJ's fault Dak went down with a possible career ending injury? So it's JJ's fault that the O-Line has been decimated with injuries? It's JJ's fault Travis Fredrick retired. It's JJ's fault Jaylon Smith is a bust? It's JJ's fault McCoy, Poe, and Griffen haven't gone as planned? It's JJ's fault Sean Lee can't stay healthy? It's JJ' fault DeMarcus Lawrence hasn't played up to his contract? It's JJ' s fault LVE can't stay healthy? It's JJ's fault Blake Jarwin went down with a season ending injury? Hell, I could go on and on about "It's JJ's fault", but the fact of the matter is this team was PICKED AGAIN to go deep, if not all the way to the Super Bowl by " WELL KNOWN EXPERTS ON ALL THE SPORTS CHANNELS". The fact of the matter is this team is suffering because there was no preseason this year. With a new Head Coach and a new D-Coordinator the players are trying to learn on the fly and it's failing miserably. Also, NO TEAM and I mean NO TEAM in the NFL could deal with the amount of injuries that this team is going through and succeed in the league today. So give it a rest with it's all JJ's fault..................

It is interesting that these guys like Cowerd, Bayless, Smith and Sharpe are used to support posters' stances but they are ignorant when they don't.

Everything, EVERYTHING, these guys say is for the 3 R's, Ratings, Response and Reaction.

The defense is a shambles because of our front office.

But that game against the Steelers that year was one of the best football games I've ever watched. Everybody looked sharp in that game.

Yea, it’s like any media personality . We don’t always agree with their take. Colin is one I’m more likely to agree with than most of these trolls inciting responses and ratings.

But I hear ya Coach. Point taken. As I’ve bashed them too. It’s like anything , if we agree with it then it’s ok. If not , it’s useless.

Shoot we’ve seen Jimmy, Troy, etc being bashed here if fans don’t agree with their opinion.

Colin Cowherd isn’t doubting Dak Prescott’s ability to come back from yesterday’s horrific ankle injury, but he’s not too confident in the Dallas Cowboys as a franchise.

“Dak will be back. Dak will get paid by somebody. Dak is a great kid. Dak’s injury will not define him,” Cowherd said. “I just worry that the Cowboys will define him.”

What Colin means by that final line is he doesn’t think Dak will ever be able to overcome the Cowboys’ franchise, which he feels is fatally flawed.

You can hear his explanation below. It centers around Jerry Jones and Dallas’ porous defense.

https://thespun.com/nfl/nfc-east/da...-makes-prediction-for-cowboys-qb-dak-prescott

Dak would be better served to go elsewhere if he's not tagged. Romo spent his entire career trying to carry flawed teams and got blamed every time they fell short. If I'm Dak I don't want to go down that road. Let Jerry, his puppet coach, and bargain-basement defense drag someone else down the rabbit hole.

Meanwhile, Jerry plans on keeping Dak - even Jerry knows you aren't building a championship team around Andy Dalton. Jerry isn't interested in taking a flyer in the draft either.

He offered Dak over $100 million guaranteed. You don't do that if you're not sold on the guy, even if some fans disagree with that decision.

With so much Cowboy information available here and pretty much every opinion/debate/topic addressed here at this site, I have no need to listen to any talking heads talking Cowboys. Bash Jerry, we got it in abundance. Bash/cheer Dak, we got it 24/7/365. Bash whoever or debate whatever, chances are it is here.

I have my few sites that I go to get Cowboys and football news. I would not waste my time on any media instigators stirring the pot and throwing poop around.

Why do people even bother with talking heads discussing Cowboys on tv or radio?

"Diehardblues" is the Colin Cowherd of JJ Taylor's.
I don’t always agree with Colin but I’d be proud to be associated as such. One of the better hacks .

And Taylor and rest of the DMN beat writers I’m usually closely aligned with. Best news source and opinions on Cowboys Football. It’s my first read every morning.

Thanks!
