BS...................
Of course it is. They let 4 starters walk-in FA. They are responsible for the drafts in which they selected injury plagued talent and the off season FA signings some of which have worked out , others haven’t.

They get credit for the good draft picks and bust which have prevented this defense from meeting its potential. This also includes placing too much priority in Cap on offense with less for the defense. Not to even mention the probable poor coaching decisions.

Yea, we’ve had some injuries but some of those shouldn’t come as a surprise as they have injury history. Overall , there’s been far too many poor front office decisions on defense. And it’s cost this franchise this era from more success.

What should Jerry do: build this crappy defense and the OL and let Dak go to get his money somewhere else no way you can do both

Seriously, JJ has done a dam good job trying to keeping this team relevant. So it's JJ's fault Dak went down with a possible career ending injury? So it's JJ's fault that the O-Line has been decimated with injuries? It's JJ's fault Travis Fredrick retired. It's JJ's fault Jaylon Smith is a bust? It's JJ's fault McCoy, Poe, and Griffen haven't gone as planned? It's JJ's fault Sean Lee can't stay healthy? It's JJ' fault DeMarcus Lawrence hasn't played up to his contract? It's JJ' s fault LVE can't stay healthy? It's JJ's fault Blake Jarwin went down with a season ending injury? Hell, I could go on and on about "It's JJ's fault", but the fact of the matter is this team was PICKED AGAIN to go deep, if not all the way to the Super Bowl by " WELL KNOWN EXPERTS ON ALL THE SPORTS CHANNELS". The fact of the matter is this team is suffering because there was no preseason this year. With a new Head Coach and a new D-Coordinator the players are trying to learn on the fly and it's failing miserably. Also, NO TEAM and I mean NO TEAM in the NFL could deal with the amount of injuries that this team is going through and succeed in the league today. So give it a rest with it's all JJ's fault..................
That’s a lot of questions and JJ sucks.

Every team has to overcome injuries. Who the hell cares about what “well known experts on all the sports channels” say? You said yourself they picked the Cowboys to go to the Super Bowl AGAIN? And how close have the Cowboys been to the Super Bowl over the past 25 years? I suggest you start listening to different “well known experts.”

And now you want to blame it on pre season? You’re right, that would made all the difference, no other teams in the NFCE or the entire league have had to deal with no pre season, new coaches and injuries

BTW, did I mention Jerry and Stephen Jones suck? They’re horrible and this teams “accomplishments” over the past 25 years is all the evidence you need.

Injuries. And no practical practice sessions during camp. No preseason games. And injuries.
What about letting 4 starters walk in Free Agency? Or the drafts in which we risked drafting injury riddled players like Van Esch, Smith and Lee. And the bust like Taco and Hill with our 1st pick. All contributing factors for this defense and prior defenses weakness this era. And that doesn’t even include the potential poor coaching decisions.

Agreed. And that’s the much bigger story here.

And while he’s had a good supporting cast on offense we haven’t on defense. It’s not been balanced.

If Dak truly wants more success should he look to move on?
I know that my opinion will be biased towards Dak leaving for any number of reasons. Dallas could draft a QB in the first round of the next draft and allow him to learn from Dalton.

Colin Cowherd isn’t doubting Dak Prescott’s ability to come back from yesterday’s horrific ankle injury, but he’s not too confident in the Dallas Cowboys as a franchise.

“Dak will be back. Dak will get paid by somebody. Dak is a great kid. Dak’s injury will not define him,” Cowherd said. “I just worry that the Cowboys will define him.”

What Colin means by that final line is he doesn’t think Dak will ever be able to overcome the Cowboys’ franchise, which he feels is fatally flawed.

You can hear his explanation below. It centers around Jerry Jones and Dallas’ porous defense.

Stephen Jones is incredibly cheap. He seems to be in charge of the purse. It’s 50/50 Dak stays.

There isn't one team and I mean one team in the NFL who has been hit with this many injuries to STARTERS. Personally, I don't listen to the experts or the "WELL KNOWN MEMBERS" like you! Every other post is jamming JJ's *** up because the Cowboys aren't relevant this year. All the crap that has happened to the Cowboys isn't JJ's fault. He opened up his wallet and paid quite a few players and I suppose because so many of these players turned out to be busts that's his fault too. Who would of guessed J. Smith and Lawrence would be after thoughts on this defense. These two players have turned into MAJOR BUSTS, there no other way to put it. These two players could carry a defense if they played anywhere close to what we thought their potentials were suppose to be, but that's JJ's fault.....right????? Go blow smoke out of someone else's *** and leave the real posting to us men........... WELL KNOWN MEMEMBER, what a joke!

HAD SOME INJURIES???????? Are you kidding me, there isn't a team in the NFL that could sustain this many injuries and be relevant in this league. How many players is JJ suppose to pay the big bucks? Add those four starter who walked to who has already has been paid and there wouldn't be enough to sign the rookies to their contracts. Who would of thought that both J Smith and Lawrence would turn into MAJOR BUSTS. If those two would of elevated their game to the next level they could of carried this defense. Hell, that was a brilliant move on JJ's part to draft J Smith in the second rd. Sure we had to wait on his arrival, but when he hit the field EVERYONE was head over heals how he could run, hit you name it he was going to be the real deal in the NFL and now everyone is like, "How can we dump this bum!". Oh but that is JJ's fault...right too? Jones went to Miami and he got injured and who's to say that wouldn't of happened if he stayed here. I suppose the retirement of Fredrick was JJ's fault. I realize JJ thinks he's a legend in his own mind and he's not. He's an owner who at some point needs to turn the entire team over to his sons who I hope will bring in a GM to run the club.

This defense wasn’t much before the injuries. And they are responsible for the bust. They would have had the Cap to sign some who walked if hadn’t over invested in Cap on offense.

Injuries are just an excuse. Depth had been an issue for this franchise from over paying and investing in injury riddled talent and over hyped talent.

Cowherd sure hates the Cowboys organization.
We all should hate this Cowboys organization . It’s what has prevented this franchise from more success this era. This dysfunctional ownership is an embarrassment.
