I may be getting back into playing American football for the first time in about 10 years. I'll have to see if my budget works for it and all. Still, the first few practices are free where, so I'll get a chance to see if I think I can do it. If I can and if the budget works, I may be back on the field finally in a sort of local league. Aiming to play linebacker, maybe tight end, and kicker/punter.
Pick the Raiders!
They'll take anyone!

After much thinking and contemplation, I think I will opt to not play. It was a fun idea, but, given my injury history in high school and given my current job, I think it's best not to. Especially with the fursuit maker making great headway already. I could just think something go horrendously wrong with my body while playing, and then I may not even be able to enjoy fursuiting which I've wanted to do for so long.

However, I may play flag football again at some point in the future. But tackle football, I am officially done playing.
Even flag football is gonna make you feel muscles you didn't know you had. I remember playing in my late 20's, and it was hard to even drive a truck for a few days.

That's true, and that I'm hoping to feel. I just wanna be careful I don't get any serious injuries that hamper my future and stuff.

So, since I can't play tackle football anymore, I may try to coach at a local Catholic HS. I'm thinking I'd start by trying to coach special teams.

you can do it as a long snapper you get paid and no one would notice you
this guy has been doing it for ages ( he is 40 now i think)
