Should the Cowboys trade for Ryan Fitzpatrick?

Nah man.

Fitz may be better than Dalton ....... but what’s the point

the OL is in shambles. The defense sucks. This team isn’t going anywhere.

dalton is already under contract. And costs nothing that you haven’t already paid at this point. No sense in paying more for another QB.

Exactly, especially with how bad our defence is. No need to pour gas on the fire. Take the high pick and enjoy use it to fix our glaring holes. We're not going anywhere this year to begin with.

The Cleveland Browns should try to trade for Fitzpatrick - Keenum and a pick. It makes no sense for Dallas to do it this season.

Why do people always say anything can happen? One of my least favorite sayings.

No kidding. They'd never advocate for building a roster without talent because "anything can happen".

It's not a plan, it's just an excuse for holding on to a belief for a little longer.

I wouldn’t be mad if they traded for a safety or DT not gonna help much this year but it would allow me to see they might be starting to see the light but no save the picks

Looking for a spark....we win the division...we get into the dance...anything can happen. With the bye coming up...it could be like a little mini camp...we reset...go on a run. Comments?

No. Roll with Dalton or the rookie QB.

He’s way better than dalton but he wouldn’t make a difference. This is a 4-12 team ...maybe worse.

Nah, would rather just lose out and get a top 10 pick.

What?

We shouldn't trade FOR anyone. We should be looking to trade for draft picks to make a better future.

Selling talent should always be on the table. Acquiring talent should never end. Never know what shows up at a garage sale.

But we shouldn't be acquiring talent premised on some wish fulfillment fantasy of "making a run" this year. Bring in guys we like and want for the future if the price is right. All the better if they give McCarthy enough warm bodies to *cut* loafers and malconents and make examples of them.

I'd cut Jaylon today. Don't let him play and have his injury guarantees kick in for the future. There's something physically wrong with him, he's a loafer, and he's probably the malcontent too.

And I was all *for* extending him. Probably my favorite signing. Until I saw him play last year, and look more and more limited as the year went on.

Doesn’t matter who is QB, we can’t block

I don't think so. Probably will be worse without Knight, but Dalton left a lot on the table. Hesitant, slow to pull the trigger. Considering that they were blocking heavy blitzing, they did pretty well.

Though Knight started horribly, accounting for our two failed 3rd downs, I believe.
