Great line. Wish I'd thought of it.

How many tables now? 4?

Yeah, and somehow, she isn't injured each week (insert your Nia Jax joke here). They have made her going through a table not mean anything at all, as she can win a battle royal after being bludgeoned! Just horrible.

What happened to WWE Underground on RAW? Low ratings or COVID problems?

If you missed last night's episode of Smackdown, it will be repeated tonight at 8 Central on FS1.

RAW UNDERGROUND should have been like BRAWL FOR IT ALL. Have wrestlers on their way out Fight for a chance to stay. Also wannabes wanting their tryout, here it is....Think about it you can seen Luke Gallows fight one of those Authors of Pain, Heath Slater take on one of those Hindu buddies of Jinder Mahal...

Agreed. The show called Dark Side of the Ring had an episode on Brawl For All.

The episode is on YouTube. Here's the link.

Yeah, it was borne out of desperate times, when WCW was regularly beating the then-WWF in the ratings and people were scrambling for ideas. Pro wrestlers are not trained fighters and it's foolish to try to present them as such. Do what you do well, don't try to be something you're not.

I remembered it and watched with my son and we enjoyed it.The biggest complaint, EGOS got hurt. I liked Bart Gunn beating the crap out of them, just wished they would have not put him againist Butterbean, but an angle taking on Stone Cold Steve Austin. Bart Gunn was like that guy ,the drifter who walks in a bar and idiots mess with him and he tears them up. Gunn was like " I dont have to talk,, my talking is in the ring".....That's what should have happened....It did ruin Steve William's image, but loved watch JBL get knocked silly and Godfather wasn't baddest dude afterall.....Kind of wanted to see Steve Blackman get nailed but he opted out after beating Marc Mero.....Would have loved to see Sean Michael's or HHH get their mouths busted open but they too chicken for something like that.. Truthfully I was a NWO / WCW guy and hated WWEat that time.

Well, it looks like WWE is quickly scrapping the whole Retribution angle. Not only did they get dominated and lose to the Hurt Business, but then the ENTIRE GROUP was decimated and destroyed single-handedly by the Fiend.

It's truly amazing how much time and money can be wasted, and damage to careers can be done, when a company has no real plans or ideas of what they want to do with a storyline and tries to make it up as they go along. I feel worst for all of the talent that we're stuck in this thing and tried their best to make it work. I just hope that for their sakes, this doesn't permanently affect their careers in a negative way.

WWE Raw is to Vince McMahon as the Cowboys are to Jerry Jones. Everything is done week to week, with no long term plan or base philosophy to fall back on. It's like someone pitched the idea for Retribution, and it was accepted, but the person who pitched the idea isn't allowed to follow through on a vision - it gets co-opted by someone else, and driven into the ground. Like it is with the Cowboys and Jones, McMahon is the biggest problem for Raw.

A very apt comparison.

Two old madmen, running their respective businesses straight into the ground, refusing to loosen their iron grip over everything.
