Good for Dez.
Shocked other teams didn't even bring him in as a stash player.
Dez can block and catch passes sitting down in zones as WR4/5.
A guy doesn't have to be WR1 to help you.

Hell before we drafted Lamb I would have been happy to have Dez as our WR3. Matching Dez up against somebody's 3rd corner or a safety would be a dream come true for any offense. And how much better would our red zone offense look with that beast to throw it up to down close?

Lol. Dez turned down a nice contract from the Ravens, what, 3 years ago because of his greed & now they get him cheap & he won't even be a starter. Lesson learned huh Dez?!

What's the point of that jesus quote in your bio when you're on here posting like a heathen? You cant even pretend to be happy for the guy you just had to get on your high horse

Maybe he will get that all elusive ring playing with the Ravens. Kc is the only thing standing in the way. What a wall that will be to climb.
good on him, and watch him start once again...you know, leave the Cowboys and fame follows you

Great for Dez.. I hope he balls out and gets a ring. He gave his heart and soul to the Cowboys and was a good soldier when they shifted to a run-first philosophy and threw him the ball less. Then they told him he was producing less (BECAUSE they were throwing the ball less) they used that as an excuse to cut him. I didn't like the way they did Dez at all.
Not true. Dez had 136 targets in 2014. He had 72 in 9 games in 2015, 96 in 13 games in 2016 and 132 in a full season in 2017. His catch rate is what actually went down. 64% in 2014, 43% in 2015, 52% in 2016 and 52% in 2017. So they were still throwing to him at basically the same clip, he just wasn't catching them.

Seems awfully convenient that you left out 2013 when Dez had 159 targets. 2014 was when the downward trend began as we shifted from "Throw it every down, Tony" to "hand to the DeMarco at least half the time. Tony" .. He went from 10 targets/game in 2013 to under 8 the rest of his time in Dallas. Sorry but a 20% drop is not "basically the same clip." It also bears noting that starting in 2015 he got to struggle to catch passes from garbage like Weeden, Cassell and Moore to young and developing Dak in '16 and '17. If you need evidence of the difference QB play makes just go back and watch last Monday night's game again. The same guys who were averaging over 300 yards/game and over 15 yards per reception as a group with Dak combined for 166 yards on 16 catches Monday night.. barely 10 yards per reception.

As people seemingly always have to be reminded.. It's a team game.. nobody plays in a vacuum. I'm not saying Dez is going to go out and hit 100 yards and a TD every week in Baltimore. Their offense really is set up that way anyway. But I firmly believ that if Dez was on THIS team playing with THIS version of Dak his numbers would look a lot like 2013/2014 Dez. Or at least be close enough that we wouldn't mind having him around.

Oh my God.. I didn't even think about that. The Ravens are going to throw Dez the ball 20 times against this secondary. He's going to have 350 yards and 4 TDs against us.,
Unless the DB starts trash talking with Dez and Dez will spend all his energy jawing back and then disappear for the rest of the game...

Sometimes prison follows you cause you can't handle the fame. Not sure Dez is a starter. He has been out a while and the achilles injury hurt him.

I would like to see him play again just to find out if he can still ball.

Im a fan of Dez but I do t think he would have anywhere close to the 2013/14 numbers. I see his training vids and it just looks lost a lot of explosion when he runs routes. I really think the injury took a lot from him
