I'm still in shock how badly he played. Given his tenure in the NFL my expectations were way higher than what I saw. I didn't expect him to set the world on fire but I certainly didn't expect the deer in the headlights player the Cowboys got Monday night. Put your big boy pants on and play like a grown man Dalton!!!

That’s not what you saw, at all....dalton didn’t do that bad. Nothing looked different with Dalton then Dak. Just different jerseys same outcome. L!

Unrealistic to expect a backup, even a veteran one, to come in and start with instant command of the offense. It takes some reps.

All the armchair qb's think after 1 game Dalton should be winning. Crappy defense, and right now there is no oline to speak of. Not sure why everyone expects miracles on his first game played with a new system and new coaching staff.

It ain't rocket science but it does give folks something to complain about.

What blows me away is he has played 1 game and you have people here throwing the towel in on him? lol I think Dalton had a bad game and can name several other players who had a bad game. This loss was not on Dalton it was on the team from front OL, WR, RB and of course defense. I expect more from Dalton but then I expect more from those around Dalton to allow him to do his job.

yup their eyes only see hat they want to see..they forgot the OL wasn't blocking, Gallup dropping an easy Td pass, the forts INT should have been called a PI as lamb was mugged on the pay that led to him falling and creating the INt, no call on shultz hit out of bounds, and zekes fumbles that put us down 14-0 because we have weak dfesne..21-0 because of that lamb no call,.,this game spiraled out of control for any QB to win..

Dak would also not have won this game with all those circumstances..

I will just say not many played well in that game. The big concern I had going in with Dalton was the OL and Dalton took some big hits in that game. Cowboys have to come up with a way of providing better protection. To give him a chance. I know Dalton is capable of playing at a much higher level but he is not going to be a one man show and carry this team, he needs help

I don't play Fantasy football so that is the least of my concern, For me I want him to do well to help this team win football games.
