I am exceedingly happy for him.
I don't expect the moon, I want him to get his life in order and succeed for the rest of it.

He's not a bad person. He deserves this.

Hes a smart kid. His demons got the better of him. Im glad the nfl has moved past such a pointless rule and I hope Randy puts it all together.

Good to have him back, but I only see two things happening. He cannot be in any shape, so an injury is coming. Two, he like Aldon will get sick of the awful defense and either run out of gas or run out of caring.

LOL ...catch Washington off guard

I used to have multiple dobermans. They would have wanted to play with the cat and then cried like a baby if it hissed at them.

Randy may need a few games to ramp back up to game speed, but if he's consistently disrupting the Washington offense tomorrow, I'll be ok with that too ;)

We could use some speed on the dline.

That's exactly what he provides.

Great point. We'll see what he has in the tank. I wonder if he is on a pitch count. He is definitely an upgrade for Dorance Armstrong.

I like Randy a lot, but I don’t think one guy is gonna fix the defense. (Go Randy! :flagwave:)

an accumulation of guys will help. May not make them play like a top 12, but Brown returned, LVE is back, now Gregory. And soon Lee and Awuzie. So collectively they are better than what is on the field. And then they may make others play better.

like an average player with 2 other average or below average players around him, is not so good.
But put two very good or elite type around an average player, he then too is better.

Particulalry a pass rushing DE. That's where we're best off on defense already. Though run defense for DEs has been bad. Gregory might help there, even though that's not his specialty either.

ASmith is bad on run defense. I'll give him a pass for being rusty. But Griffen is bad too. His snaps should be cut down.

The guys we paid who aren't producing can start sitting. Particularly the guys who are gone next year.

More addition by subtraction, even if it means putting young guys who aren't ready.

Worley should not get another snap. I'd rather take my lumps with Robinson. I'd rather ask Carr back. (Cutting Carr over Worley was a very bad sign for the defensive coaching staff.)

I'd just sit Jaylon too. Don't let him get injured and be on the hook for the next 2 years. Play LVE. Gifford. Bernard. Play guys with a future. Play guys who have the health and motivation to play.

Cut Poe's snaps, but keep playing him some in hopes he improves for next year. Calling up Hamilton was a good first step.

I'd go full 1989. Play young guys. Play guys with a future here. No need to play the progress stoppers.
