If I’m Dak, I’d seriously consider leaving this franchise. As much as I’ve criticized Romo through his years, he was good enough to win way more playoff games than he did. Dak has to consider his career could follow this same path. The Front Office is the only constant here...

Even with all the above I’d be comfortable Dak doesn’t put up anything less than 3TDS against Washington.

Not sure what Jones will end up paying him but the losing (and the way the team is losing) has made me more certain it will be at least $40 million. And the Trevor Lawrence hype? Not seeing him break Jerry Jones' appreciation for Prescott. Not one iota. The only thing left is waiting for the offseason and the draft.

2016 had a lot of guys living up to their large contracts. 2020 is literally the opposite

Team wasn't going anywhere with Dak. That's not a criticism of Dak, it's a criticism of where we are as a franchise. What good is it to get bent over a barrel and pay Dak $45MM a year and then not surround him with better players? With the way our cap is structured now, if you overpay Dak, you are going to have a lopsided roster.

Exactly what we need. Jerry and Stephen to have more money to resign players and pick up free agents.
