If it was Dak maybe a guy would’ve reacted.....as you can see by the play this team doesn’t look at Dalton as one of them. Hell this team may not even consider themselves a team. McCarthy lost the team that Jerry built.

Im dying to know what happened that made mike fisher hate McCarthy. McCarthy is really miserable with the local guys here and I bet fisher took offense to it and is now on a daily mission to talk crap about him. Its pretty hilarious.

McCarthy was extremely rude and miserable to Brad Sham in the coaches segment of the pregame show in week 2. It was kind of odd how rude he was to Brad. He seems to have relaxed around Brad since then.

Idk I'm sure he doesn't hate McCarthy but McCarthy has done nothing since the first game of the season but come across as a fraud. He just isn't as advertised. The team isn't buying into anything he's doing I've never seen the team like this in my life. And I've seen us quit on Wade Phillips and arguably Jason Garrett, it still felt different. Like at least the team gave their all for those coaches for years until that point.

I really don't think McCarthy knew what he was getting into as far as the media is concerned. The drama that the head football coach has to deal with in Dallas with Jerry running the show is no cakewalk.

possibly.

There has been no drama though. Just Dak's franchise tag and that was really mild for drama's around here. The drama here is that the team and McCarthy are incredibly terrible so its on him as much as anyone and maybe more.

Normal Dallas level drama that pulls everyone offsides is stuff like Owens intentionally overdosing during the season, Michael irvin trying to kill a teammate with scissors over a haircut, Dez bryant slapping his mom around, Zeke being suspended over an alleged sexual assault, Players arrested for drunk driving..etc..etc..

none of that this year...yet.

What angers me the most is NOBODY, not a single player came to see what was going on for his QB

to be fair there are a lot of young players on the field whose heads are spinning and they looked very concerned with Dalton being seriously injured.

the truth is none of the veteran offensive line here have ever been the types to go and mix it up. The last guy we had that did that was Ron Leary. He did it all the time. Smith, Martin, Frederick never have. Romo took some vicious shots and then taunted him and they did nothing.

Years ago Marc Columbo, Flozell Adams and Leonard davis used to stick up for Romo and other offensive players all the time. Lots of penalties through the years from columbo and adams sticking up for our guys.

I know that, with Fish specifically, he gets aggravated with McCarthy for not blasting his players publicly. And not many coaches that want to win do that in the NFL.

Fish has said multiple times that McCarthy is trying to sell "the big lie", that is McCarthy refusing to acknowledge that this team has bad practices and it's such a shock that they fall flat on their face on game days. I think that's an unrealistic expectation for any writer to have.

Thank you. That’s the way all the local media have been acting. JG is gone and so does the easy reporting and Bril making them brownies.......

It make me nauseous

To be clear i think McCarthy is a tool for the way he talked to Brad Sham. Brad asked him real questions when he was expecting fluff before the game and mccarthy got all mad.

Reminds me of a certain someone. If only we could vote out McCarthy and Jerry.

To be fair, Big Mac is used to the unwavering adulation of the few, subservient members of the press who covered him while he coached the Packers.

The M.O. of that group of Green Bay lifers is to uncritically regurgitate whatever narratives the organization feeds them.

When Big Mac's schtick became too stale for even the Packer organization to ignore any longer and the press finally began questioning Big Mac's coaching acumen, his prickly response was to lecture the assembled rubes as follows: "Let's just state the facts: I'm a highly successful NFL head coach."
