I thought the same thing. And if you watch the video, Steele does turn to Bostic at one points and give him the raised shoulders, "***, dude" look. A couple of guys rushedover to Andy to see if he was okay.

But in the same video, whach what Amari Cooper does. He does nothing. He doesn't react in any way. This is typical Amari Cooper.

I can understand the offensive line in a way. But Zeke? The WR’s (CeeDee gets a pass)? Where the hell where they? There should’ve been at least one person in Bostic’s face, or on the ground with Dalton to make sure he was alright.

I think Troy makes a good point, not to mention these guys have no veteran on that Oline to set the tone, it really is a bunch of inexperienced players trying to stay afloat in a storm.

Zack would have pounded him. Likely will next time we see them.

If that was Troy hit like that, the whole team would have come down on Bostic. Cooper, Zeke and the sideline should have came down on Bostic. The team's only "fight" is a slogan on a t-shirt. This team does not have pride, grit or any of the traits of the great teams have.

The whole team is woeful.

I would spit beechnut in Bostic's eye.

Its quite simple

they more than likely don’t like Andy Dalton and when Dalton got in their faces on the sidelines they more than likely didnt care much for it

thats when coaching has to step in......idc if you like the man or not you stand up for the players wearing the same uniform or find work elsewhere

That was my thought too, I'm not happy with it but McGovern, Biadasz, Steele and Knight are all guys that have less than a full seasons starts when you add all four together. You don't normally see players like that cannonball into the defense and stir up feces.

Fair point from Troy, the oline is young, but there were plenty of veteran offensive players on the field.

But the veterans are guys like Amari Cooper who reads Plato in the offseason. The only real barfighter we have left on offense is Zack Martin and he wasn't on the field.

Taking the company line.

Some other former players are up in arms saying someone on the OL should have retaliated to even getting tossed themselves. If this was the old starting line, maybe that happens but some of these OL were looking on like "is that guy on the ground on our team? He looks familiar, not many players have red hair".

To be candid, I didn't even get mad because I was in shock. That's the same reaction the guys doing the game had, they couldn't believe it at first. I had to look at the replay for that to register. It was so intentional, Dalton must have really pissed off Bostic.

His helmet was off so they didn’t see the star.

Nate Newton basically said the same thing. He even offered two examples involving himself where he reacted differently in each one. The first one involved him early in his career in a game with the Bears and Singletary laid out Steve Pelleur with a nasty hit and neither he nor anyone else did a damn thing. He then went on and said that if the same thing had happened to Troy later on in his career he would have went head hunting and that he played really chippy when it came to protecting Troy. His point was that the main thing to be taken from that hit by Bostic is NOT that the players don’t care if a teammate gets hurt (look at Cooper’s reaction to the Dalton hit. He clearly was concerned). The main thing to be taken is that these players don’t have any continuity with one another and subsequently don’t know, trust, and believe in each other. There’s little to no team bond.
