Horrible ice storm in Oklahoma

This is the 4th day without power after massive ice storm earlier in the week. At the peak i believe there were around 300,000 without power. A couple of nights were around 32 degrees and fairly miserable. Hopefully the power gets restored soon
 
it's the worst ice storm i've ever seen here.
the leaves hadn't fallen off the trees yet...so once the ice hit...that was alot of weight.
our neighborhood has been out of power since 2pm monday and it looks like the trees just exploded.
there is debris EVERYWHERE.

Was going to ask Johnny if his power is back up but am sorry to see you're in the same boat. Stay strong and warm.

I do believe this is worse then the December 2007 ice storm and you are correct being that it's early fall there was still a lot a foliage on the trees which gave the ice more to stick to it really looks bad up on the northwest side of the Metro

i've not seen it this bad.
i just hope we get our power back before the game sunday night.
