This Was The Turning Point of the Game For Me

Yeah the Wilson play was a bad one. Offense couldn't overcome long down situations and that dug them a hole. The turning point was Dinucci's fumble and scoop score. That was one of the worst calls of 2020 by any ref, lol.

100%. It snowballed on us from there. When you have a beat up, struggling team coaches cant make stupid mistakes. We were about to be up by 2 scores and boy wonder got cute.

This is not the first time he has did this. I can't stand coaches who go away from what is working and want to get cute. In the Giants game when we were driving the lead at thend, we get a 1st down near their 20 and then decide to do stupid WR screens that made no sense. Killed the drive and we have to settle for a 3 to tie. Luckily we got the ball back and we won the game anyways but still.

This game was only semi-competitive for a while because of Wentz’s 4 turnovers.

Philly is bad but we are probably the worst team in the league without Dak.

Actually that reminded me exactly of Garrett. X is working so we better do Y, because they'll never expect it.

Yep. Seen it so often in the Garrett era, even with him at OC. Tries to outsmart the other team and ends up outsmarting himself. Also, at least make the play somewhat tricky. These reverses are so obvious, predictable and slow developing when it is happening. But when you are jamming it down a team's throat and taking their willpower from them, a reverse is the last thing you want to call.

Wentz struggled to beat a 3rd string QB at home. He made one of the worst defenses the NFL has ever seen look very good. He's a turnover machine.

3 of his wins this year came with him and his offense playing like puke for about the first 55 minutes. Then he will make a play here and there and they win. Happened last night, Giants game the week before and that Niners game. His defense played so well, all he was asked to do was make a few good plays and they win. Must be nice.

Having 4 turnovers and you still win by 2 TDs? Unheard of in the NFL. Had we had Dak,we win that game going away with ease. Wentz is in year 5 and he's barely better than Daniel Jones and whomever Washington rolls out.

We were up 9-7 and driving the ball down their throats. Eagles up to that point had did much of nothing. I believe we were on a 9 play drive and ran the ball every play or all except one. It was 2 and medium and what is our call? A slow developing, predictable reverse to Wilson. Does Kellen Moore not know to stick with what it working? That made it 3rd and very long, settled for a very long FG. Not even close. Eagles get the ball in good field position and go down and score. And that was pretty much game for me. Such a maddening play call that made zero sense.

Even Collinsworth said had we just kept ramming the ball down their throats going north and south, they probably do not stop us. At the worst, we have a much easier FG try and extend the lead to 12-7. We needed every point we could get this game. But with how we were driving, we could have made it 16-7 and who knows what happens from there.
For me it was kickoff....

There is a difference. Mixing it up on that drive would have been play action/rpo. Running the reverse when you did it multiple times already in the game was bad.

Exactly.

It's bizarre that people argue here in such extreme measures. Either a player stinks or is great. No in between. Either the defense is really complex or really simple. No in between. Offenses are either really, really aggressive and creative or they are just boring and passive, no in between.

DiNucci actually had the better QB rating last night.

That’s how bad Wentz played. He’s awful.

I’ve never been a fan of going sideways on offense. Moore also wouldn’t let the kid throw to anyone over the middle but Schultz. Where the hell has been the wide open Lamb plays since Dak got hurt?!? Smh

DiNucci last night had open receivers and either held the ball too long or Overthrew them

Too many times he threw it too high and into double coverage......

But we've stopped running when it has been working for two straight games now... Zeke getting decent chunks at a time, and then they pull him for Pollard and the running game stops. Makes no sense why you pull a guy and change up when it is working.

Pollard had 3 straight runs as good as Zeke if not better than they took him out and back with Zeke

DaNucci and Prescott led offenses both scored 9 in the last two games against Philly.

Think about that for a while.

He also likes to take out whichever RB is doing well and lose all momentum. Then when Zeke is hitting the wall 8 straight times he keeps him in. Its maddening.
