All this means nothing. All this is talking heads blabbing their mouth for ratings, pretending they are mind readers and know what everyone else is thinking. And to predict Jerry's thoughts is almost impossible, because sometimes even Jerry does not know what he is thinking.

Dallas will do their best to stay mediocre with Dak.. This franchise is toast for awhile.

Too many talented young QBs on rookie deals right now and HOFrs taking a discount to chase a championship.

We’re just going to be the fighting Dak’s and smile while gritting our teeth saying it’s the smart thing to do.

It seems the Cowboys have been pretty transparent on talent acquisition and retention goals. When they say they plan on keeping Dak, that's likely the goal. Now if the dollars don't work out with what the Cowboys have in mind then I think drafting a QB becomes a possibility.

If they do end up in the top 2 picks, then he can think about it. They end up in the 5-7 range, no need to think about it.

I said this all week as fans around here knee jerked their emotionally responses to Jerry and Stephens remarks on dak and drafting a qb.. they arent being forthright and as the video sates , its just saying the right thing..

this isnt about Lawerence we have nearly zero % chance to get him..

its Fields VS trading the #2 pick for a boat load of picks and STILL go after a Trask or someone later in the first..you can do boat and maybe Keep dak either One FT year or LT because you than have time to get the heir apparent ready in 3 years..you still have so many picks to grab top defenders as well..cake and eat it to...

they do this is GB and NE its smart.. fields and the gp to the next 3,4,5 top QBs im betting not very big..many more QBs taken around 10 vs 1,2 have succeeded over the last decade lots of busts up at the top, so its risk either way, im taking the extra picks and risk a Trask over fields and no extra picks..

After the smoke and mirrors stop appearing..

Enjoy.

I dont get everyone, why does it have to be A or B, lets be realistic here. we are going to end up with TOP 3 pick we can pick someone at the TOP to fill a need outside of QB. then you know someone will drop we have ammo to move up to mid 20's (if we choose too) to get backup and replacement if Daks not ok.

I doubt that Dallas loses all the rest of their games and the Jets win 3. So no Trevor Lawrence in Big D. Just fantasy talk in Nov 2020.
You are just guessing like everybody else. You can’t totally ignore the possibility that the Jets will win a few games or that the Cowboys will not win another game. The Cowboys have been horrible until they lost to a flat, unmotivated Steelers team and some fans saw it as some kind of moral victory.

Maybe, or trade pick for a kings ransom.
To me the best trade option is 2
At one I don’t think Jerry passes on Lawrence and I wouldn’t either
But to get a kings ransom means trade down several spots
At 2 you can get a very good pick for moving just a spot or two leaving a generation OT, top LB, top 2 CB and top edge rushers all in play

Then please take your whiney butt and leave until Dak's gone and spare us your daily misery.

Flat unmotivated Steelers team?

Why is it you're always making excuses when you're wrong (which is always)?

If the Steelers were unmotivated, why did Roethlisberger come back out to play the 2nd half after we now know he suffered a torn knee cap ligament late in the 2nd quarter when they were trailing? Sure doesn't sound like they were unmotivated the rest of the game.

Quit making excuses and sounding so foolish.
