News: 3 Players that should be traded in the offseason

1. Amari Cooper
Would rather keep him, but if we could get a 1st rounder for him, I think the team should pull that trigger.

2. Jaylon Smith
Sure. Don't think he is as much of a difference maker that the coaching staff makes him out to be.

3. Blake Jarwin
Doubt he's tradeable, but think he should be kept.
Let's lose all our games on purpose, trade some of our good players and let our FO draft us a few HOF players.

I only read the Jarwin page I landed on. Not exactly the strongest or well thought out arguments. I don't think losing Jarwin would send us into tail spin, but it just sounded like he was told to write something about the Cowboys real quick.

All tradable players. But I doubt we get much for any of them. I'd probably rather keep Jarwin because he's a low cap hit. Him and Shultz can make a good combo.

It would destroy the cap and due to their contacts no one is going to want to trade for them. You'd have to cut them and, again, destroy the cap.

It would only do that if you cut them. But if Cooper was traded Dallas would have an 8 million dollar dead cap. Cut him and it's 28 million. The other two don't add up to much cut or traded. I do agree that no one would like those contracts. We'd be lucky to get a 6th in a trade.

Any teams willing to touch Cooper or Zekes contracts? I have my doubts we get what we want for either of them.

I can actually see a couple ready-win playoff teams willing give maybe 2nd or 3rd for him ( Packers, 49ers, )

There's only 1 team dumb enough to give up a 1st rounder for a guy who is only good at home and he already plays for them.

Blake Jarwin is on a cheap contract. I would keep him. Can't have enough good TEs.

No quarrel from me if both Amari Cooper and numbskull Jaylon Smith were traded. All depends on their current contracts and if they are tradeable (to the Cowboys benefit). My only question with trading Jaylon is who do we have to fill in for him?

I would consider Zeke, but who else do we have behind Tony Pollard if he were to go down with injury? We still need Zeke for at least that reason, even if he is overpaid. Zeke and Pollard give us a good 1-2 punch.

Dak - 3 1sts
Cooper - 1st
Gallup - 1st
T. Smith - 3rd?
C. Williams - 4th?
J. Smith - 7th?
X. Woods - 7th?
LVE - 3rd?
Brown - 5th?
