We lost our rookie cornerback. Even if Awuzie returns this week, we don't really have depth beyond three players and two of those players likely leave in free agency next year. So I agree that at this point, it absolutely isn't going to hurt to give Baker a chance.

If we miss, he's just another cheap pickup who failed us this year. If we hit, then corner might not be as high of a priority next year or at least we might have a little depth.

I agree that it's buyer beware, but if he's cheap, then you can throw him out if he proves to be garbage or trouble.
