yes, we gave up 400+ yards, but it was more bend but don't break. they actually got two...TWO...TWO turnovers....I had to rub my eyes, several times and Zeke, man he didn't fumble and his first 100 yard game of the season. Kellen Moore called a great game. I have criticized him in the past, but he called a very good game. took it to their defense. stuck to the run and utilized cooper....

great job by the coaches, shuffling the OL and it seemed to settle them down and give the QB a bit more time and they were actually opening up big holes for the RBs....

Ive been critical of Kellen Moore but he called a great game today and what made it great was when we got momentum he didnt start calling reverses and quick screens he stuck to what was working

and that play design where Schultz caught the game winning TD was a thing of beauty.....it fooled the entire Vikings defense and left him wide open

The defense came out in the 2nd half and gave up three long TDs drives in a row.

They kinda stink still. But they made a play at the end, so there's that. But this is the reality facing this team. They may win the division, because it's so poor. But with this defense, the talent and the DC, there is little chance then can make any real noise in the playoffs.

exactly, they made a play at the end. against cleveland, they gave up a 50 yard run to a WR....

I think its worth pointing out the Viking have some real talent on offense. How we played in the first half in particular was really impressive. Tough out having to deal with Cook pounding the rock then Thieland and the rookie phenom.

I am going to come out and say it..

this looked alot more like playcalling from McCarthy.

Moore has not shown this sort of game plan before.

Different signature than his previous efforts. Now Mike does wear a headset and I see him talking on the sidelines as he walks back and forth.

This has to be Moore on the other end. Plus we see them talking on the sidelines and Moore over on the Microsoft Surface tablet explaining things.

But however..it was different and other than when Moore seemed to be protecting our thin halftime lead to open the 3rd Qt..

and Minny scored on a long time_consuming drive to go ahead..

we went right back to being aggressive and it changed the whole outcome.

We even got more aggressive defensively which closed the game out, too.

We will continue to watch and listen for more clues.

:omg:

for real lol. Cook is the leading rusher in the league and thielen is leading the league in td catches. Plus Kirk been cooking lately. They did their jobs

Seems to me that people are saying this win is because of MM , that moore got stripped of calling duties.

Moore had a decent game. A few strange calls. 3rd and 1 and then 4th and 1 you throw on both downs with a $90M RB? Makes ZERO sense.

Defense was a bend and kind of don't break. Cousins rating was 140.1 which normally means you lose.

Cowboys barely beat a sub .500 team. So some perspective is needed.

Congratulations are in order for the Cowboys coaches and the players for hanging tough against a decent Vikings team.

I felt the play calling was, absolutely, a step in the right direction. The defense is showing improvement, thank goodness.

A tip of the old hat, in gratitude, could go to Andy Dalton, Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz.
