I can do without it, but not going to harp on it either. It's really any different from a player going through a stupid dance, drop the ball, then point indicating a 1st down.
How did you all feel when Michael Irvin (the creator of it all) did that?

yup sports all have it but the nfl players do it more because helmets make it hard for fans to relate as they cant see their faces so they draw attention for product recognition, gets their name out there for marketing etc..

the NFL league does NOT mind they might encourage it...

I mean after every first down it’s stupid. But man when the Oline and Zeke were rolling in 2016 and we were just taking teams will away there were times I enjoyed the feed me.

It just needs to be done sparingly.. It’s like the guy doing a sack dance or celebrating a tackle when we’re down 3 scores.. Don’t be that clown. The league is full of those.

All these "look at me" celebrations seep down to lower levels. I watched a HS game over the weekend. Kid got a sack, jumped up and did the home run swing thing. Problem was, they were losing 35-7 at the time.

myself i think its just bit ridiculous how these FB players nowadays have to do some sort of crazy celebration thing for sacks, TFL's and TD,s and with Zeke first downs but its where we are now. Its gotten progressively worse from Deions stupid dance to Jaylons swipe.
I mean act like you expect to do it. But I'm just a grumpy old fart anyhow.

I can be critical of Zeke when he need it but he did play a good game yesterday as did the OL. Those two things more often than not go together. Pollard looked good as well. I like the one 2 punch but you are not going to see Zeke wear down opposing defenses again until our D gets fixed and or we stop making turnovers to get down in games. And his endurance increases.

Zeke played well yesterday. With all of the bashing he’s receiving he deserves some praise.

He probably didn’t want to continue doing it at 2-7.
