PFF grade? lmao
Wilson has played better than Diggs this year. Pff, eye test, whatever you want to use. Never seen a CB get beat so bad by a wr running a straight line with no move being made. Julio did it, Metcalf did it, mclaurin did it. He has promise and upside but people need to pump the brakes on Diggs

Two players that this franchise desperately needs to be difference makers are Diggs and Wilson. It's been, who knows how long since this team has had a playmaker in the secondary. If we are going to ever get away from the same defense that has plagued this franchise for the last 2 decades +, these two guys are going to have to be playmakers.

Need to see far more of both before we know if they are answers. Would be great in multiple ways since we'd only have half a secondary to rebuild next year. Both are hit and miss right now. Diggs seemed to be picking it up a little bit, so it's too bad he got hurt since it slows his development.

Wilson has a higher pff grade than Diggs so why does Diggs not get the jag title? Yall get caught up in where guys were drafted too much

1 - I don't put too much stock in PFF.
2 - Diggs is a rookie. Wilson has been in the league. He makes some big plays but he's a JAG in coverage. I'd be fine with him at SS if we had a rangy FS but we don't.

We can’t rely on Wilson long term.

please draft a safety and draft one early. Within the first 3 rounds.

Please

Wilson is getting a lot of the Jaylon 2018 treatment.

Splash plays are covering up deficiencies. To this point, he's a generic safety who doesn't really do anything in coverage.
Pretty sure he was supposed to help on that last Theilen TD over Brown...

Jeff Heath was never trash. The guy played hard (harder than most) and made a few plays. He'd be one of the better players on this current defense. Plus he was decent on STs. He's just not a starter. He's a roll player and we could use him now.
Fan Boy legend.

Hurt us way more than he ever helped us.

He was but Brown knew the Safety help was inside. Brown let himself get burnt outside and maybe was hoping a Safety would bail him out.

To summarize, Brown is awful.

When offenses need a big play, they find Anthony Brown.

You are correct. But I will say he's a first year starter and he's young. But people are seeing his big plays and his lack of skills in coverage. Who knows if that can improve.

Wilson looks like he belongs, decent at SS. Diggs has a lot of upside, he will be ok.

Wilson was definitely throwing his body around and making some hits.

They are nice building blocks for the future, still a lot of work needed to fix the secondary. Really would like two high-end starters at both positions.
Sign Earl Thomas and trade for New England CB Stephon Gilmore in the offseason. There's your two high-end starters right there, unless you draft stud safety (which should already be in the mix).

A secondary of Diggs, Gilmore, ET, and D. Wilson should be pretty good next year, assuming that ET has a little something left in the tank.

Lol I dont even know why I engage with people on here about safeties. Why cant we rely on him if his play continues to improve?

Diggs can be really really good
Wilson is likely to be a JAG
Based on what? Yall cant intelligently answer that because we all know its because one was a 2md rounder and one was a 6th. Its not about actual play lol
