If you ever needed an example of a coaching failure

That game was a great one.

The amount of dumb calls, mistakes, etc. from this coaching staff in this game was almost comical. From the bizarre red zone play calls from Moore, or his bad 4th and short call in the 2nd half, to some poor third down calls, to that brutal fake punt, to Nolan being outclassed again this game was just a textbook study in how a coaching staff can implode a game.

What is with Moore's obsession with college level plays? Has Nolan ever designed a good blitz? It seems he just runs either LVE or Smith straight into the heart of the opposing OL. And what's with the defense almost ALWAYS giving up an easy 8-10 yard gain when we have a team in a hole at like 2nd and 16?

Just at a loss for words on this one. You saw one team that had middling talent like us well coached and then you saw us.

I just wonder what goes through his head in games like this. Last week, he called a pretty good game against the Vikes. Then he comes back this week and just does so many stupid things. He's also gotten predictable IMO. We run almost every 2nd down after an incomplete pass. We also love that jet sweep on 3rd and short. Good DCs, like Del Rio, will pick that up.

They have gone from one extreme - conservative to a fault with Garrett - to now the other extreme - aggressive to the point of stupidity with McCarthy.

We should have crap canned Garrett the Monday after the last game and hired Ruhle. This team needed a young, fresh voice. Not a retread who brought his buddy Nolan, another bad retread.

Vikes: Martin played, Vikes DL is nothing special.
WFT: No Martin, WFT is one of the best in football.

I would have to agree...the coaching in this game, from MM to KM to Fassel all showed the ineptitude side of them. The offense continues to stink and the defense took several moonwalks back from the last couple of weeks. "Just when i thought i was out....THEY PULL ME BACK IN'

It seems like this team needs to extend themselves in order to just be average........ I guess back to tank mode we go.

Not turning this into a Jason Garrett appreciation thread; but I think he'd still have a job here had he turned the defense over to Matt Eberflus a few years ago.

Garrett's teams didn't win enough either; but I can't recall too many crap shows as bad as this.
