I can’t believe you guys are going to such lengths to try and give Dalton the win for that Giants game lol......

What lengths? Dalton could've very easily given Dak the loss and then I'm sure you guys would've said Dalton lost the game, am I incorrect? I like to go with what is logical, and if Dak would've been winning the game during the whole time and then gets injured and Dalton steps in and ends up losing it, I give that loss to Dalton.

Excluding 2020 season, Dak Prescott has played 18 games against teams that finished the regular season with over 10 wins. He is 5-13 in those games with 22TDs and 19 INTs. How the hell do a anyone consider giving out a 35 million a year contract for this?

If this is truly how you want to Judge the QB play then we need to set that against the other QB's in the league, Again if Dak is the only QB that loses to 10 win teams that will mean something...if thats the norm for QB's then it really just means most winning teams have beat the other teams.

I see you didn't answer the question i asked you, and now you acting like Dalton didn't even move the ball. So you are telling me that Dak doesn't deserve any of the credit in any drive where Zeke scored the Touchdown in other words. Well now we know you don't want to argue in good faith.

(In bold^^^): That's not necessarily true.

Kurt Warner led the Rams to the Super Bowl both in 1999 and 2001.

Warner's passing yards each season:

1999: 4,353 with 41 TDs
2001: 4,830 with 36 TDs

Jared Goff also led the Rams to a Super Bowl in 2018.

Goff's passing yards that season:

2018: 4,688 with 32 TDs

As one can see, both Rams QBs ran a pass-heavy Offense while passing for 32+ TDs in each Super Bowl birthed seasons (1999, 2001 & 2018). It pretty much shows a Super Bowl can be reached with a successful pass-heavy Offense.
It's not about being pass happy, it's about balance. Warner had HOFer Faulk running the ball, and they did.

Rams were the 3rd ranked rushing team in the league in 18.

Looks like it was true after all!!!!!

I clearly showed that's not true at all!

You judge QB's based on their ability to keep your team competitive and the only way your team gets to that next level is by being able to beat the 10 win teams on a consistent basis.

Conclusion: Once again Jerry has built a completely QB dependent team. His teams cannot win w/o a top 10 (or so) QB. He needs QB's who can bail him out, because his teams are always majorly deficient in one area or another. Or both.

Steelers, Saints, even the Texans the other year were able to win games w/ mediocre backups. We cannot. Why? Because we have a crapp GM who doesn't even try to understand NFL football and what it takes to compete for a championship.

It's mainly a defensive thing. Most teams are not as good on offense when they lose their starting QB. The drop-off to the next guy is generally fairly steep.

However, we've gone years without a defense good enough to make it where the quarterback doesn't have to play great. Maybe we would have been better off hiring a defensive head coach because the Joneses sure don't seem to understand the importance of having a strong defense.

If Andy Dalton moved the ball for two quarters and was winning the game and Dak came in and Zeke scored the touchdown? Naw I wouldn’t give credit to Dak. It’s just odd people want to praise someone who had 100 yards and 0 touchdowns and 0 picks.

It would appear to me if we look at some of the success in Cap era at least in this generation that it takes great defenses and Elite QB’s with rare exceptions.

When you have an Elite QB they can elevate less than stud talent around them on offense while building a Top defense.

We really haven’t had either this era. We’ve come closer to an Elite QB than great defense and why we have come as close as we did a few times. But greater teams expose your weaknesses.

We’ve over invested offensively with talent and Cap money. If it’s not enough or we’ve misevaluated any key pieces it’s going to be exposed .

And it has to carry to an average to below average defense. Our team has been mismanaged .

Really want to get depressed and see an indictment on our current and previous coaching staffs, look at our record the past ten years with a backup qb. Then add on how many games those same backup QBs went and won with other teams.
Obviously having to play your backup qb hurts but tons of other teams have to play their backup qb and still look competent or even win. We haven’t looked competent as a staff in decades. Indictment of jerry mostly. We’d be better off hiring maddens AI.

No, we didn't. It isn't mismanagement that gave this team so much talent on offense, its good drafting. We got Dak in the 4th round, Gallup in the 3rd and Collins as a UDFA. That's a Pro Bowl player, another who should have been last year and a guy in Gallup that may be there one day.

We gave up late first round picks for Amari Cooper and CD Lamb, which were steals. Then we took a HOF OG in the middle of the first, an average OG in the middle of the second and Biadasz in the 4th. Nine years ago we took Tyron at ninth overall on his way to the Hall of Fame.

Boo hoo, we drafted well.

But it’s not enough to carry our defense .

Again, you have to be great on one side of the ball and average to above average on the other.

Need a great defense and Elite QB. We’ve been closer at QB than defense. And as a result as well as we drafted on offense it hadn’t been enough to carry defense further.

So, despite the good drafts on offense it’s been poorly managed overall . Over invested offensively. And the results reflect as such.

Stop your constant lies already...

The film proves you are wrong on every false accusations you say about Dak.

Dak Haters are too football dumb to realize Dak's stat padding was keeping this atrocious defense off the field, with the hope Nolan could finally get a defense
