True. But the picks were have to give up to move up to get Trevor wouldn’t help us.Well he would free up around 25 million in cap space for next season....

What in the hell? Man you get a shut down corner in here this team is a legit contender. You get Lawrence in here and at best it’s going to be what we already have. Chargers still suck with Herbert. This is a long term plan.
Lawrence has a chance to be one of the best if not the best QBs in the league. Nobody cares what you give up to get them.
You get Lawrence in the building and you go from there.
Some corner or linebacker does nothing for our future.
To spend on who? We can make these blanket statements but have you noticed no one mentions a actual name when talking about signing free agents? Because there’s no one out there. There will be no corner available as good as Surtain. No offensive linemen available.Well he would free up around 25 million in cap space for next season....
Darnold isn't really that great a prospect. You want to give them 2 first round picks? One we know is a great player?Disagree..
Darnold is 23 and they have failed him as a franchise.
They can be sold on sticking with him and actually putting something around him.
His failure is on them. He’s still a really good prospect that has a ton of experience for a 23 year old.
I would try to sell them on Sewell and Lamb.. I’d try to move Gallup first but I’d come off Lamb for Lawrence.
I don’t think they are stupid enough to trade for Dak.

AMEN.And if we can find a solid free Safety I think Wilson makes a pretty good Strong Safety.
I'd get another DT and a LB as well.
There's a difference between being a "shut down corner" and being someone who teams didn't throw at because it was easier to throw at other people on the defense.....We had a shutdown corner for years and we let him walk.
I

Oh? But what about when we have to pay him? What if he doesnt pan out? We are right we are now. In 5 years. So we wasted 5 years on your theory. And are right where we are now. Or we improve the defense. Sign Dak. And hit the ground running next season with an offense that puts up 30 points a game and a defense that stops other teams from scoring. This is a long term plan.

Well based on his PFF score......if he keeps up his grade of a 54 he will probably a cap casualty within a year or two so you'll probably get your chance at getting him again....Yeah.. We had one of those.
He also matched up with everyone on the field and could play slot.
Michael Thomas could never do squat on Byron.
I don't know them or the team. Don't care.It makes no sense for the Jets to invest in a franchise quarterback? That’s about the only thing that makes sense with the 1st pick in the draft.
If Dak is healthy. Draft defense.

Chargers have had a load of injuries this season and a Head Coach who will likely be sacked soon. They could have the pieces in place to be a contender next season especially after likely having a top 10 pick in 2021. Their issue is that they play the Chiefs twice a season and the Raiders are a tough divisional opponent. They were able to sign Bosa because they drafted Herbert on a rookie contract which bodes well for them going forwards. What in the hell? Good players become available every season and it's not always known in advance as circumstances change. To spend on who? But you care enough to talk about them? Are you senile?I don't know them or the team. Don't care.

If we sign Prescott then it will be tough going really. Washington has built a nice defense and have a quality and receiver. If they can source a good QB then they will be difficult to beat. Giants look much better as well and will have Barkley next season. The Eagles and Cowboys have looked the worst teams in the division. The worrying sign is that we were no way near being a contender even with Prescott. I suppose divisional dominance comes in cycles and whilst people bemoan the lack of Superbowl success over the past 20+ years...it could get a whole lot worse before it gets better. Time to buckle up!
