Call it!

It was never a good fit IMO and Nick Foles exasebated the situation winning with "Wentz's Team".

Bill Belichick will fix Wentz.

Any bet takers

If I am a NFL GM, I am taking J. Winston over Wentz. No way I am taking on that terrible contract, and at least Winston balances his turnovers with offensive production.

Agree...I'd keep him at least one more year. Get him a top RB and stud WR and go from there. But this move is Peterson trying to save the season and possibly his job.
Yeah you are correct Peterson has to do something....

Though its funny they want to replace everyone but Wentz. All of those other guys are the ones who won the Super Bowl.....Wentz didn't.

I will say though I Think Miles Sanders and Boston Scott are the real deal. That's a very good tandem. They just won't had the ball off to them for whatever reason. I thought Fulgham was a solid find as well he was playing some of the best football in the league during that run. They drafted Reagor.....might need to go wide receiver early again next draft.

Worst thing Pederson can do is waffle between QBs, so I hope he continues to do so. The QB drama will be fun to watch.

I agree. This was pretty much saying goodbye to Wentz. If his confidence was lost before this benching, he now has none left.

Only positive that can come from this is if they do discover Hurts is a baller.

But they still owe Wentz a ton of money over the next two seasons. Good luck finding a trade partner.

Trading Wentz hurts (no pun intended) the Eagles salary cap and no way they can afford to trade him. Howie really screwed up their cap and they are stuck with him for the next two years.

I know when Wentz signed that big contract I thought he would go out with injury but instead its poor play :D :D

Watching the race between Injury, Interceptions, Leadership and Contract was like watching one of those mascot races at a baseball game.

This is your daily reminder that to get Carson Wentz, Philly traded a #1, #2, #3, #4 and a #1 the next year that was used to select Deshaun Watson.

You're welcome.

If that happens with Wentz moving on in a trade - and a team willing to take to that sizeable contract . .and depending which team happens to be that
direly needs a QB badly i think Wentz has enough salvageable foundation to resurrect his career.

- Wentz is just making far more puzzling bad decisions. with killer turnovers and off -inaccuracy.

- OL crash hurt Wentz who remarkably has stayed healthy despite being sacked the most by any QB but its up to management to provide depth (ala cam erving, Knight, McGovern, Looney)

- Pederson does not believe in running the ball - it's just cosmetic with Eagles and they only do so in spots. when they had trade for Jay Ajayi, and
backs like cory fleming were making plays - that took a lot off the QBs They talk so much of how high they are on Thomas sanders but don't utilize him

- how much of Eagles success could have been more ex-OC and now Colts HC Frank Reich,.... than it was Pederson ?
Is Pederson now being exposed as a lesser offensive mind ?

- Wentz has been without his targets Ertz and Dallas for much of season , Jefferies is trash, and are Eagles regretting bypassing Justin Jefferson
for TCU Jalen Reagor ?

- i thought of 2nd round pick Hurtz as to be a primary backup for durable questioned Wentz, ..but could we be seeing the beginning of end for Wentz.
in both an coaching staff and owner that are clearly frustrated with him.
We wouldn't see Dak being benched and Jerry turning his back on him ..
Reagor is like Tyree Hill. He’s a burner with video game like agility but he needs a QB to get him the ball. If Jefferson had Wentz he’d look awful.
