Dak - If we can get a franchise QB with the 1st pick, we should do it.
Zeke - I'd just move on. He doesn't produce *and* fumbles.
Tyron - Keep. Much of his cost is sunk cost. I thought he got past his back issues. Gotta evaluate post neck surgery, but if he's like last year for a few more seasons, that's a very good deal.
Martin - Keep. Duh.
Cooper - Can bail in 2022, and Lamb is a plug in #1.
DLaw - Lots of dead money here. I don't see him going anywhere. We're getting very good play for elite dollars. Not good, but not horrible.
Getting a franchise QB with a 1st is a massive win on the cap. Changes everything. Can drop our cap hit a ton if we move on from Cooper too.
McGovern and Biadasz give us cheap starters. Martin, Collins, and Tyron are all reasonable money going forward.
It's Dak and Cooper. Both become 30% of the cap. That's just too much. You can only get away with that if you have a bunch of guys on their rookie contracts holding up the team. We whiffed on too many on defense. Taco, Jaylon, LVE, Hill. They should be the pillars. But not.
It's not that bad on defense for the cap. DLaw is the *only* guy getting paid on the defense, and he's at least a very good player. I'm assuming we cut Jaylon and Crawford.
