For all those enthusiastic people who want to sign Dak dont forget this team was a watermelon kick away from being 0-4 with him. Ive seen enough of Dak for 4 years to know he isnt going to lead this team to anything more than a division title in a bad division.

You were wrong about Romo, and you're wrong about Dak, HE.

Actually I was right about Romo! I knew this team would never win anything with Tony. Talented QB but had a knack for bad mistakes at the worst times. What causes mistakes is pressure. Romo was good but never gonna win anything. Dak is never gonna win anything either. He makes less mistakes but also takes less risk and holds ball too much. Not as accurate as Romo either. This team hasnt won anything since drafting a 1st round QB.

For me alot depends on his injury. I love Dak and if he continues to progress well , yes I want him back.

If there are complications, then I'd be nervous given the amount of $$$.

If you have an opportunity to draft Zach Wilson or Trey Lance, (Lawrence and Fields won't happen) I'd go for it and let Dak walk. Use the cap space to help plug a few holes. Look around the league and the success of young QBs on their rookie contracts.

They wont know his condition before the draft.

the draft is end of april. his 4-6 month recovery puts him at early april for the conservative estimate. he's squatting and walking already and ahead of schedule. I'd imagine they will know enough about him physically by the time the draft rolls around.

my preferred roster route would be for dak to be the qb of this team with a full defensive rebuild in the draft and free agency. having said that, if there are any questions to his recovery or if he is still asking for over 35m i would most definitely look at drafting a qb and trading or franchising dak.

Yes...I would also like a young buck with some potential in the draft please.

I only said NO because this team has too many problems to pay any QB that kind of $$$ coming off an injury.. If we had a defense, then Dak would be worth it.
I get it but, If you win the daft. The money save will likely go to retreads and you have a young defense. That team is not going to a NFCC game either.

Dak holds ball too much and is not as accurate as Romo?
