Its nice but in todays NFL 1k not as impressive as it used to be 1400 is the new impressive bar for the pass happy NFL..however given our OL and QB issues its very good year..kudos to ac, that cut late in the game last year that made the CB fall was more impressive then the catch and run, just broke the dudes ankles..i saw those rubber bbs just fly up and was like Dayummm

i would lie to see more TDs though, that drop was bad..

Coop is good, but he's a poor man's version of Michael Irvin. What Cooper struggles to have his biggest season gains, Irvin was getting as some of his lowest season gains. Which is why I say Coop is way overpaid by at least $5 million per year. Instead of $21 mil per year, Jerry should have paid him no more than $15 - $16 mil / season.

Gallup draws the worst coverage in the league because of Cooper. As soon as they decide to cover Gallup, Cooper is there for a huge play and oh yeah, CeeDee is lurking. This is the offense we expect to see. Dalton is more comfortable in the offense. If we had a little better defense and somehow made the playoffs, people might be scared because we are gelling at the right time the last 3+ weeks.

Overall good to see that the team hasn't totally quit on the coaches...

lol nobody is scared of this team. Let’s calm down here.

Yeah he’s awful despite playing with 4 different QBs this season.
Same for that All Pro RB Arlington Jonesboys fans have been trying to cut for a back up to start. He is 53 yards away from 1,000 yds., and 1 catch away for 50 receptions. He is also awful despite an OL minus 4 starters from last year, starting 2 rookies and a 1st year player.

Arlington Jonesboys fans are comical.

But the other side of the coin is that Amari is one of three good options in a scheme were Kellen Moore exploits the best matchup. If he was on a team with few options that just fed him the ball (like when Dez was the main option under Linehan) Cooper would probably have 2000 yards.

I guess I'm a supposed "Amari hater."

I dont hate him at all.

I think he is an outstanding player. He doesnt have that dawg in him but maybe he doesnt need it.

I would rather spend the 20M on defense to balance the team better, but no one asks me.

I don't know if he'll ever be a 100 catch 1500+ yard receiver, but man he contributes some big plays to the team.

It’s weird...Coop is good for ~1,100 yard season but he’s never broken through for that 1,500+ yet.
Hard to do it when Zeke and CeeDee and Shultz and Jarwin and Gallup all have to share opportunities.

Nice situation to have.

Not this year.
I like Cooper, I just think I'd trade him if I could get a high pick and free up that money. He's more of a luxury than a need with Lamb and Gallup in the fold. Gallup could put up huge numbers if given the chance and Lamb too

No doubt in my mind having Cooper makes Gallup and Lamb more productive. With all 3 on the team there's no way defenses can double all 3 (well they could, but that'd leave the tight end and the backs covered with a linebacker at best, not a good situation). Take away Cooper and you can double the other two.

But you're taking the same position in some ways as the trade Zeke posters - he's so good you'd get a high draft pick, but he's not good enough to keep?

He's good enough to keep but you can't pay all 3 of the WRs...it's too much to invest in the position. I'd rather keep Gallup than him...Cooper's love for the game is questionable to me. He disappears against top corners but makes $20M annually.

Unguardable in man, as the numbers attest for Dak when Amari got here.
