The Eagles might be doing us a favor. The Football Team really needs a quarterback. They could use a top 10 pick instead of the playoffs.
Thats basically where we are hanging our hat.

I hope it does. Sucks to win meaningless games that will cost us the opportunity to pick out of either the best top 2 CBs, LBs, O-Tackles,DTs or best Safety anywhere inside a top 10 pick. That's not taking into account every round thereafter of what talent is available in each round.

If you've been watching some of the draft shows, it's pretty negligible as far as the Corners and especially how the Safeties go (Cavanaugh and guys are saying there are no Safeties worth a first round pick at all). If anything picking one higher and having to pay them MORE might be a worse situation. The top 2 CB's are not worth top 10 rookie money is what I hear a lot..so..take it for what it's worth. You do have to pay them and there is a chance that they'll be Diggs type guys (Suratin, Farley, etc).

I'm less upset about losing our top 5 pick just seeing what the Defensive players look like in this draft. There are NO Blue-chippers.

Maybe this is where the legend of Jalen Hurts begins....1 player vs 53.....and he defeats the WFT...single handedly.

I totally disagree. Farley is definitely worth top 10 status. He's that talented. 6'2", 210 pounds, 4.35 40, 40" vertical, can play man-to-man or zone, can even play either of the Safety spots if need be, fluid hips, hard hitter, makes interceptions, ex-WR, knows what the WRs are thinking when running their routes, aggressive, etc. We could have used his talents immediately. Oh, well. Not going to happen now.

Won all these games and destroyed our draft position for nothing. Typical Cowboys....

This franchise is stuck in purgatory.

Totally disagree?? Not sure of your logic/studying then. Farley didn't even play this year and he was OK at Va Tech last year against pretty inferior teams and QB's. He's an excellent prospect, with a lot of "potential" and measurables...He could eventually be a top tier guy but I'd rather not pay top $ for just potential....there are absolutely no guarantees he will be a top tier CB. You pay top 5 money for blue-chippers. Oh and BTW when the Cowboys select "absolute" top tier Safeties/CB's...they've whiffed something fierce. Just a friendly reminder of recent history (Mo Claiborne)...

Mo ClaiBURNED was a starter for years in college. I knew he was not worth trading up to draft in the top 10. You should do much better research on Farley. He's definitely top 10 material and much better than ClaiBURNED ever was.

Here, I'll help you...

I don't hate Farley...Don't get me wrong...I respect Cavanaugh. He and I agree most of the time so I gotta go with his opinion (someone who is paid to do the job as opposed to a guy on a forum, like YOU. LOL)

I've listened to Cavanaugh. He's wrong about Farley. Just wait and watch.

You should listen to me. I'm usually more right than most of those "paid" wannabes.

Wow, someone should hire you to run their scouting department..<sigh> .... LOL

p.s. if he fell to us, I'd be thrilled to take him at 11 or 15 or wherever. He might actually be available. Never know.

If the jets can win a couple games, then the eagles could win....it’s the nfce anything can happen

The Eagles will win this game, and win it going away. They're a decent team who has had some bad luck. They don't need Fletcher Cox to stop this wretched offense, especially if Alex Smith isn't playing. And the team formerly known as the Commanders is not exactly healthy either. They're missing Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson and the aforementioned Alex Smith are questionable.

The real question is whether Dallas will hold up their end of the bargain and beat New York.

You guys know how this works right?

Dallas wins earlier in the afternoon - Eagles lose.
Dallas loses earlier in the afternoon - The Eagles will find a way to win the game.
