Get a new GM. That's not happening so I guess what I say next is pretty mute also. But I can dream. What Dallas need to do before they even draft another player is to get a great head coaching hire. Since Johnson and Big Bill. We NEVER had a coach worth his wait in failure. I mean not to moan and groan. Why not though after nearly 25 years of mediocrity and losing. And anybody who disagreeing with me. Has to realize how many sorry butt to average teams have turned it around while Dallas continues to be Dallas. Year after year:facepalm: I mean the friggin Cleveland Browns are in the playoffs and more respectable now then Dallas. And with a lucky win they tie us in as far as we've ever gone in nearly 25 years. So for me I really could careless about the draft or trades etc. Seen it for 25 years over and over yet every year here we are. I'm gonna always be a Dallas Cowboy fan team wise. But as far as this organization goes? In my mind they are none existent sorta like a winning season anymore in Dallas. I don't think big Mac Mike is the right hire. I could of swore I was watching Jason Garrett 2.0 at times out there. Dallas needs to go get a young coach who can bring in new idea's and have been battle tested as Oc's or DC's. Even the Browns coach would of been a better hire then Big Mac Mike. He at least gave us one of our best O lines and rushing numbers when he was here in Dallas. Big Mac Mike IMO is just another puppet coach Jerry can pull the strings on. Same with Nolan. What on God's green Earth possessed Jones to go along with this hire??? Guy never was a good DC. Been out of football like Big Mac Mike had. And Jerry hires them. The only people I feel more sorry for the us Dallas fans. Are the players who have to practice and try to win under this brain dead organization and the non coaching guys they bring in.
Peace.

Ah yes, a young coach who is battled tested as an OC with new ideas.

Just like Jason Garrett.

Since we all agree this is the right thing, maybe we can move on to discussion about what the new GM should do? Jerry is the GM. He owns the team and he is going to stay GM until he appoints h is son to the position. It is a given. It's like you won the lottery and you buy yourself a new sports car. You bought it because you want to drive it, not let someone else drive you around in it. The Cowboys are Jerry's convertible Ferrari and he is not let anyone drive it no matter how many times he strips the gears. To him, why own it, if he doesn't get to drive it?

Jerry is the GM. He stinks as GM. That's is not a variable, it is a constant.

Lol Vince Lombardi's ghost could be coaching this team and they would still achieve nothing.

Nothing changes until the man up in the suite does. And his moron son gives me zero confidence that I'll see another Super Bowl in my lifetime.

Score more points than the other team. That should help get things going in the right direction.

We scored 38 against the Browns and still lost by 11:facepalm: So 48 wouldn't of got it done either. Sounds to me scoring was not the problem. Thus even more baffling why BoZo hires an offensive coach with Moore already here running the offense. Clueless??? Thy name is Jerry Jones.

How can scoring not be the problem when they scored less than the other team? Can't win games scoring 38 if the other team decides to get 49. Browns definitely had the better strategy that day.

@IceStarD54 What was your win-loss prediction before the season began? Just want to see if you are not just venting and actually believed 8 months ago what you are saying now.

Before Dak got hurt???? I never worried about the offense. Even with Dalton. Defense has ALWAYS been my worry and anybody who followed any of my threads know this. So going in I knew it was offense or bust. We got BUST! What's your point?

Culture of accountability. Jerry is not the guy to hold players, coaches, front office personnel accountable.

What was your prediction before the season began? Did you think the Cowboys would make the playoffs before the season began?

No concerns after that loss to the Browns? That was when everyone realized this was an 0-4 team but for a gift from ATL. If you're being honest, the offense was a contributor to those losses.

Not really. I knew the defense was bad. I knew the offense was good, Sounds like 8-8 for me. Big Mac Mike couldn't even get us to 8-8. That being the case. Mike McCarthy IMO is still the wrong hire. How do you vote on that?
