Couldn't at all figure out where the Colts thought they were going by signing Rivers.

Suppose I got my answer.

Reich and Rivers have the connection in SD a few years back, one of Rivers best years statistically, and the Colts knew their OL wasn’t garbage like in SD and they had a RG. I was excited for Rivers going there and considered them a sleeper. Rivers can still throw downfield, he’s just a statue.

It’s so awkward, but the guy is classy and a warrior. His best chance was that season when their defense had 5 INTs on Brady, but their DB fumbled the final INT in basically FG territory for the Patriots.

Reich is an amazing coach and has done a great job. Him and the Titans HC (his name has slipped from my head) are some of my favorites in the league.
