So is this guy any good? Is it one of those "great coordinator but not a good HC" situation? I know he took the Falcons to the SB but more recently he was the HC of a team that could never hold a lead and seemed like the defense gave up a lot of points

Bigger question is who is he bringing with him? If and when this thing goes down. Don't mind Quinn.

Makes sense. Occasionally, Jerry will fall in love his "young Landry" like Garrett or Moore, but most of the time, he wants his coaches to have some skins on the wall. Also a 4-3, which I am in favor of, and I think Jerry is in favor of.

I would love to have Dan Quinn as the DC. But there are multiple reports he had his interview on Saturday. Would this be a second interview and getting the job?

Sounds like maybe the Saturday one was a phone interview or zoom interview. And maybe they are moving on to the face to face now because the virtual one went well?

During his only two years as a DC in Seattle, the Seahawks went to the Super Bowl. Of course, as the head coach of the Falcons his defense was not exactly the Legion of Boom - so who knows?

I think Jerry wants the defense to get back to competitive as soon as possible, to complement the offense which could be very good next season. An experienced coach that runs a 4-3 is probably the most likely way to get that done.
