Sleepovers??
It is Archer...take it for what it is worth....to me, not much....
During his only two years as a DC in Seattle, the Seahawks went to the Super Bowl. Of course, as the head coach of the Falcons his defense was not exactly the Legion of Boom - so who knows?
I think Jerry wants the defense to get back to competitive as soon as possible, to complement the offense which could be very good next season. An experienced coach that runs a 4-3 is probably the most likely way to get that done.
You're not a fan of his work?
I think him being a DC, instead of a HC, will make a big difference. One can be a defensive minded HC, but there is a DC on the team, for a reason. Having hands on as DC, is different than HC responsibilities.
He is ok, I don't hate the guy. But sometimes I feel he just throws stuff out there. Or the other way, he states the obvious.
At least he gives some info for discussion, and nothing wrong with that.
I find him to be among the more reasonable reporters and not prone to sensationalism.

my bet is after they hire the DC , that DC will decide who else stays or goes and hires his staff top to bottom so those that are still here are not safe IMO and that the proper way to do it anyway..First staff meeting ...

Etc....
I think so too. I’d like the hire. He was a great dc. Coach he was good for a bit but his career as a coach deteriorated. This could be the move we need.my bet is after they hire the DC , that DC will decide who else stays or goes and hires his staff top to bottom so those that are still here are not safe IMO and that the proper way to do it anyway..
That didn’t take long. CZ members know better.Terrible hire. Get ready for the Sam Darnold type comments of this is the easiest defense to breakdown.
